comes with a king sized price tag. in san jose, damian trujillo nbc bay area nenews. happy three kings day to all who celebrate. and jeff ranieri here. now, jeff, look behind us, okay? is that fog? yeah. yeah. what is going on? yeah, we had that come in so thick this morning, and we're going to start to see that clearing out here as we roll through tomorrow's forecast. but we still could get into some on and off fog here as we head through the next couple of hours. let's go ahead and take it into that microclimate forecast and we'll show you. we've had some very calm winds today and that's what's helping create this fog down at the lower levels. you'll see visibility right now generally is not extremely bad widespread throughout the bay area. but we do have a few spots here where it is dropping below two mile visibility. that's right here in half moon bay and also napa reading one and a quarter mile visibility. so again, through about 11:00 tonight, we still may start to see some of these visibilities
5:19 pm
really drop at least through the evening as temperatures continue to get colder. so please be aware of that if you're doing anything out here tonight. otherwise, in walnut creek, we started to get some sunshine here this afternoon. that has been good. a little bit of relief. 56 right now. we've got some chilly forty's on the way. ten and also 11:00. but as we roll through tomorrow's forecast, the thing that we're going to be tracking is this wind developing throughout the bay area. now it's going to be gusty on and off for the mountains. but it really looks like unfortunately for southern california, the worst of the winds are going to be down there. so again i do expect some wind right now. it's not red flag fire warning status. it's just more of this on and off situation we're going to see as we head through tomorrow. so 1:00 at night, winds anywhere from 15 to about 30mph as we head through 9:00 tomorrow morning, we're still anywhere from 15 to about 30 on average. some of the mountns may get up to about 40. we'd stay with the
5:20 pm
similar wind here through tomorrow afternoon, and then as we head through wednesday morning, any kind of wind would get out of here. and thankfully we've seen some recent rain, so that should help us out. but again, the way things are setting up this area of low pressure in southern california, that's going to bring the strongest winds to them, where gusts could get over 60mph. so we're going to continue to track that wind. but if you're doing anything tomorrow, i think really the top risk here with that wind advisory is going to be in the mountains 500ft and above. humidity overall doesn't look extremely low. with the way this is moving in. it'd be anywhere from 35 to 45%. so beyond this, as we roll through tomorrow morning's forecast, we're going to start it off here with temperatures in the 40s across the bay area. we'll get some mostly clear skies in here. as that wind kicks in. it's going to help to get rid of any kind of fog. so i don't see fog as an issue for tomorrow morning. we're going to drop it down to 47 in the east bay, san francisco 50 and the north bay at 48. daytime highs for tomorrow. we're coming in with
5:21 pm
some warmer weather with that drier breeze coming in. that'll bring us to 65 in morgan hill, 66 in milpitas, right here to the east bay, 66 in antioch, 63 in pleasanton and 65 in hayward. up against the coastline, we're at 64 and half moon bay, also mid 60s, san mateo, redwood city and palo alto, san francisco. we're dipping into 64 here in the marina, 66 in the ingleside and forhe north bay, 62 in clear lake. on that 7-day forecast, you'll see here in san francisco temperatures in the low 60s next several days. and for the inland valleys, we're also remaining in the low 60s. so yes, we do have some wind, but fire danger right now doesn't look extremely high. but in southern california, that's going to be a different thing. it's going to be pretty gnarly, very dangerous. so we're going to have more updates coming up at 530 tonight, but no rain in sight in that forecast. and this time last year i think we had rain. yeah. it's kind of an odd start to january without any kind of storms next two weeks. all right jeff thank you. okay. coming up costco is recalling cold and flu medicine. the
