11:17 pm
today. tomorrow, some changes, some heavy drizzle, a little bit of light rain at times, mostly for the morning and then some drier weather. in fact, warmer temperatures ahead in that 7-day forecast perhaps as we approach next weekend. and right now there's a look at the transamerica pyramid again, the upper portion still illuminated there. watch for it again tomorrow night. a bit of a light show that happens before 11:00, apparently in san francisco, 48 degrees right now in san rafael. we've got mostly overcast conditions around the bay area, upper 40s in walnut creek. and that cloud cover likely means that our morning temperatures won't get as cold as we woke up to this morning with lots of mid 30s, so we do have some rain at times tomorrow, but the totals are a lot less than what we saw earlier this week. wednesday storm system will probably bring the most rain over the next seven days, and then towards the end of the 7-day forecast, a bit of a warming trend on the way. morning temperatures starting off in the 40s. mostly cloudy throughout the day, so less sunshine expected on your sunday and cool temperatures. upper 50s
11:18 pm
near san jose, mid 50s out towards the interior portions of the east bay, and about 58 around san francisco and 59 into oakland. so you've got the overcast around the bay area now, but starting to see some rain approaching the north bay there up towards sonoma county. and it will be this area, northwestern sonoma county. if you look at the color coding here, that could get about a quarter inch or more. but one of change that has happened here for areas south of san francisco, less starting to show up there. and you can see why here in the futurecast the rain kind of falls apart as it marches south. 7 a.m. tomorrow till about early afternoon. a few hit and miss showers and then skies should start to clear. actually close to this time tomorrow night from north to south as the forecast trendns drier for monday and tuesday. showers staying up to the north coast there by mendocino county ahead of the wednesday storm system. a little more moisture to work with. more sierra snow on the way. so look at the estimates of that wednesday storm. now, one big change here is that the entire bay area
11:19 pm
should get something out of that, and maybe up to a third of an inch to a half inch of rain for the north bay, and generally less than a quarter inch south of san francisco. then once we get past wednesday, high pressure starts to build in. so the storm track is going to lift on up to the north, and we could be looking at 60 and 70 by next weekend. so a little bit of light rain to wrap up this weekend before things dry out monday into tuesday. then the pattern of another midweek storm is there. just not with flood watches like we saw this week. about a quarter inch to a half inch of rain with that, and then spring weather could be around the corner. if that forecast holds 60 and 70 possible inland for next weekend. i think a lot of people will be happy to hear that that next storm coming in is not as strong. yeah. rob, thanks. let's go to anthony florez at chase center with a look at what's coming up in sports. wild bill. what a night here at chase center. it is a beautiful night right here in san francisco, california, 2025. let's get it, man. the nba all stars showing out in the skills
