back to you. drive-by shooting last night, the victim just happened to be standing outside at the time. we need to know who the victim is. he is 28. who were the suspects? police haven't said how many there are and what was the fight about? two groups were involved. from the abc 15 live desk there are a few of our heroes ready to fight an out of control fire from maricopa on their way. they face a tough task. the bluecut fire. 60 miles east of los angeles. crews trying to stop this fire. and the scan of the area from above, they are reporting back as they find more losses. it is devastating. no such damage. can't say how many homes have been lost at this point but 82,000 people are effected by

passing an ice cream truck. investigators say the mom was nearby but could not stop the accident. neighbors creating today. one woman who does not want to go on camera said the brother acted like a hero. >> the boy was brave taking care of his sister when she was injured and taking care of his other siblings when the mom and dad were upset. >> the to phoenix children's hospital in critical condition and just moments ago we spoke to the man who was driving the ice cream truck last night. he talked to us about how he was fetching ice cream for the children when the accident happened. he heard the scream. he also had three signs on the back of the truck warning that there are children nearby and possibly crossing the road. we will have more at 10:00 p.m. back to you.

practice with the chargers in san diego but coach bruce arians had a scare last night. sent to the hospital with stomach pain. abc's craig fouhy is with the team in san diego. here is the latest. how is he doing? >> reporter: well we had the scare last night. he went to the hospital. this morning we found out it was diverticulitis. an infection in his colon. that is a problem. he knew back to practice. we got him out there for a while. he was there for a little bit standing with the general manager. we heard this morning at the news conference that the pr person said coach will not address the media. he is resting. and then after carson palmer talked coach walked in the room and talked about what is ahead. >> bunch of stomach pain.

nancy bidwell just passed away this morning. losing her battle with breast cancer. she is the wife of arizona cardinals owner and the mother of team president. she passed away at home surrounded by family. she was 84. enough is enough. the president of the arizona board of education resigning and he is pointing to one person. dianne douglas the state superintendent. he was involved in with dianne douglas. he says he offered to leave before but is doing now because the governor asked him to step down. he said dianne douglas refuses to adopt new policies. >> a law maker will have to convince a jury the charges against her are part of a witch hunt. she is accused of food stamp fraud. trial november 1. witnesses, bullets and conversations with victims, some of the details in reports on the serial street shooter.

hundreds of pages. he is still out there. abc's jason valentine is live with the conclusions experts could draw from the information. what are you learning? >> reporter: we are waiting on two of those reports for the shootings that happened. we do have this. talking about hundreds of pages from 7 of the 9 serial street shooter attacks. everythi the serial street shooter up to this point. the details. most striking, in three of the attacks witness reported seeing somebody else in the car with the shooter. in june he killed a 12-year-old and two women. reports say a witness saw two people in the shooter's car. in another incident witnesses said someone was holding a gun out the back window of a shooter's car.

explain another detail, the shooter has been seen in different cars. >> it would be unusual for these type of shooters to have more than one person involved but not impossible. it would account for different vehicle descriptions you had at various scenes. one or two other people involved with the shooter they would be participating. they may have vehicles to allow the switch from one to the other. >> reporter: phoenix police are still saying they think accomplices is unlikely however they are not ruling out the possibility but what they are sure of, they are confident that this is the person they are looking for. this is the serial street shooter. >> thank you very much. happening now maricopa county wants to get out of the landlord business. a lot of attention between the county and the diamondbacks. now a group of investors wants

kenny: holidays in our family were a little unique, mostly because my mom was able to insert jesus into all of them. anyone could do it for christmas and easter, but my mom really had game. you know what's even brighter than those sparklers? the light of christ. but st. patrick's day was different and the center of our fun was the o'neal family float in our neighborhood st. patrick's day parade. pat: hey, guys, come on! ha-ha! here she is! beautiful! is it? well, i think last year we literally rode her hard and put her away wet. yeah, she could use some sprucing up. and this year, in light of recent events, i think we'll ditch the rainbow. okay, hurtful. but i'll never turn down a trip to felicia's fabrics.
