stick around for the morning commute. we are tracking some more widespread showers and rain across the west valley. not as much rain as we have seen earlier, but enough rain to wet the roads and slow you down. that rain falling over to sun city, and glendale getting some rain. also, the southwest valley, spots like goodyear, buckeye, and richfieldpark getting some more of that widespread rain. the east valley. we have seen some passing shows morning and a few isolated storms. right now one little batch near guadalupe. we have also got a few isolated storm flays are tough to see because they are right around the radar sight, but out near apatchee junction and near queen creek. you can see that widespread rain to our west and southwest. it stretches all the way down and even further to the west with some strong storms tracking through the county and also into western maricopa county. so, we are

that area until 5:30, and those storms will aggravate that flash flooding situation, so really use caution in that area. but because a lot of this is pushing in from the west, that rain potential is there for the morning commute as this sweeps across the valley here this morning, and eventually becomes a little bit more widespread in the east valley too. so your rain chances, scattered showers through the morning commute. right now, we are at 30%. notice we keep those elevated rain chances in the forecast through about 9:00. after that, those storch do start to trend down a bit. i do think we're going to start to see these showers and more widespread rain off to our east and northeast. we'll get a little bit of a lull toward midday, and we could see more storms this afternoon. this storms this afternoon could be very dependent on how long our clouds stick around this morning. i think the clouds are going to clear out quick enough to bring us the slight chance for storms later on. today is a good day to keep that abc 15 mobile app happy and know that you could get rain for your morning
4:51 am
