multiple times. sonu wasu, back to you. west valley now, a death in a retirement community. a man's body discovered in a car this morning in sun city west. abc's melissa blasius talked to sheriff joe arpaio and his investigators calling this one suspicious? >> reporter: that's right. sheriff joe arpaio calling this suspicious death. he is giving us strange details of what was happening morning. also we should say at this hour the neighborhood is still surrounded by police tape . investigators have been going through a red car where the dead body was found this morning. a neighbor made the discovery. both the body and a live dog we should say, deputies also had to call in the s.w.a.t. team after a man inside a house

marijuana. from the three houses deputies found 107 pot plants and 10 pounds of finished marijuana. this man invited us inside. notice the marijuana leaves on the floor. he says his nephew hired him to guard the place after it was broken into it. today the cops searched the place and let him go. he admits it was a grow house but claims the owners running a legal medical marijuana business. >> clients would call for what they needed and they would deliver it. >> reporter: they delivered. they didn't have people come to the house? >> no, no, no. >> reporter: from had three different houses we know that deputies were looking for four total people. the owners of the grow operation. it is unclear at this moment how many they arrested. back to you. >> all right. thank you. happening now from the abc

update, one of two toddlers pulled from a hot tub passed away. tonight his twin sister is improving but her road to recovery is far from over. investigators say the mom looked away for a second and somehow the twins managed to wander out of the house and into the water. they do not plan on pushing for charges against had family. break in the hunt for a sex offender. deputies just confirmed they have john he escaped on tuesday in san tan valley using a stolen truck. police tracked him down this morning after reports of a suspicious personane neighborhood. a man -- person in a neighborhood. a man was driving drunk back home from a funeral when he crashed into two cars, sending them flying on top of each other. killing a man.

hospital with serious injuries. the all clear after students were forced to evacuate in the past few hours. police say a threatening note on a wall sparked the whole thing. just in, six firefighters hospitalized should be home and resting tonight. the fire at a pool supply company. justin pazera with what went wrong. >> the fire was so toxic the fire department will have to throw away damaged equipment. you can see this in the middle of mcdowel street. they had to hose off every firefighter, all their equipment, hats, boots, the hose. when they got here the fumes were intense. >> coming from third avenue and mcdowel, 50 yards from the fire. >> reporter: six firefighters sent to the emergency room.

just into the abc 15 live desk phoenix man arrested accused of pouring gas on women and threatening to burn down a neighborhood. investigators say joe jones confronted the two women accusing them of stealing his wallet. police say he took a gas can and poured it on the women. he is also linked to a separate incident where a woma her couch and chairs on fire. new at 5:00 p.m. a predator arrested accused of creeping on women in phoenix. investigators say car wash employees chased him down after someone caught him peaking under the stalls in a bath room. mesa tonight, a police lieutenantant on the other side of the law. -- lieutenant on the other side

in february dui, a driver called 911 after seeing him swerving on the road. investigators say his blood alcohol at the time was .306. an update right now in the last few minutes about a major crash that shut down the east side 10 for hours today. the driver of the semi was distracted and looked down for just a few seconds before crashing into the truck and rolled. he only suffered mi injuries. this is the 6th major accident on the stretch of road in three days. greetings from tory pines park. you are in arizona, 110 plus, we are in the pacific ocean, down over looking the waves, the cardinals had a walk through this morning, they took the day off to see what san diego has to offer so why not us? here we are enjoying the views.
