victims from the triple shootings. three adult men were shot here. no suspect at this time. people crying up and down the street that see new spread here. one man who was not crying when he talked to us was the father of one of the victims. >> i guess him and his friends got shot. i got a phone call and rushed over here. he said he got jumped. hasn't sunk him going into the balance. >> reporter: the man we saw being wheeled away was awake. but authorities say all three victims do have life- threatening injuries. >> thank you very much. the search for a gunman in chandler wrapping up with an arrest and we can tell you this is deadly. one person killed. you can see from air 15 a ton

now. investigators sorting out what went down. we will update you as we learn more. hours after a silver alert was issued police found the 88- year-old dead. he had a stroke but it is unclear if that factored into his passing. wild escape sending firefighters chasing after him. abc's nohelani graf with details. when we say it was a hot pursuit we mean it. >> reporter: guys, this suspect came full circle. he was at the hospital when he escaped. he went on the run barefoot. no shoes. it is warm. imagine running down the street in the heat of the day. so tonight this guy is back in the hospital being treated for burns. but here is the back story, police suspected he stole a

they just had to catch him driving it and they did. when they stopped him he got sick. he had drugs on him. he swallowed them. firefighters took over. took him to the medical center before he was sent to jail but that is where he bolted. police say he tried to steal a car, but the owner fought him off. he runs to a motel, knocks on doors, stealing cars his mo. he tries to hot police and firefighters get there. a firefighter wrestles him into the patrol car. and the patrol car rolls up a curve and into a wall. that is the video you are looking at now. we know who this guy is but queenlet identify him till he is -- can't identify him till he is booked tile jail.

and bear -- lengthy criminal record and barely out of jail. >> thank you. an airport scare. a man jumping a fence at the airport and getting into a truck, ramming it into a southwest plane, injuring crew members. you can see the end result from the picture. good news police have the guy in custody. you saw our abc 15 mobile push alert. this guy being called a serial voyeur toni of indecent exposure. admitting to 20 incidents. traffic alert, a big back up. this is the southbound lanes and we are told a car collided with a vehicle and rolled.

just listen to that storm. monsoon 2016 striking the high country again. hail and heavy rain pouring down in cottonwood today. and back here in the valley, air 15 giving us a view of all the dust that was picking up near rush hour. it clipped by lakes in chandler, the southeast valley cities, dropping visibility to less than a half a mile. on abc 15 desert doppler we are in the clear. showers and storms in the there is a chance for more over night. all of these heading to the east and northeast. we could see activity over night and move into the valley. that chance 10 or 20%. between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. and then more showers through the morning commute. before the chances ramp up into the afternoon and evening. monsoonal moisture into the weekend too. coming up in a bit how long the storm chances stick around.
