pulled that child out. the child has no pulse at the hospital. i can tell you the crime scene tape stretches around the house. when we got here, two adults, a male and female, got short into a car. everyone is waiting to find out if the child is okay and we don't know the answer to that. a somber mood in the neighborhood. neighbors say there are ki that house all the time so this is a tough situation so far. we'll keep you updated as we learn more. happening now, a lot of scrap that could catch fire at any moment. crews on hand making sure this doesn't leave any hot spots. we are talking to the firefighters who will have to stay the night at this scrap yard. .

there in the middle of the living room. it was crazy. . reporter: now, he was sitting on the couch listening to music when her heard the gunshots and then the crash. the apartment went dark but he could see the car right at his feet. he says he scrambled for a flashlight and that's when he saw the victim severely bleeding but he wasn't sure if his roommates were under that car. >> it's hard to kn there's nothing you can do. . reporter: when you discovered they weren't underneath, what's that moment like? >> relief, just relief. ? reporter: now, his roommates made it it with minor injuries. they were up and walking and getting belongings from the home today. phoenix police do not know who

minneapolis. police say the 16 year old was struck by a man trying to get away from police. he kept driving after hitting the teen who later died at the hospital. when the suspect was arrested, authorities say the man had several warrants out for his arrest. those in bullhead city can rest easy. police say they have arrested the manage who had been placing bombs around town. at least one explosive went off two weeks ago. another he's now sitting in the jail facing a slew of charges. you think there's a better place than a day care to stash your pot. we're not talking a little baggy. we're talking 600 full grown plants. this is in connecticut. no official arrests yet but plus are close to one tonight. . hoa, three letters that can bring out strong emotions.

you're looking at the satellite composite of hurricane newton. here's the latest, moving to the northwest at 14 miles per hour. it is a category one storm with sustained winds at 85 miles per hour. will don't stay at hurricane strength overnight tonight and is forecast to become a tropical storm as it continues to move to the north and eventually to the northeast as the remnants try to move into arizona. it looks like the remnants will be just south of the valley though we will have moisture move in. the biggest impact and most widespread rain fall looks to be across southeastern arizona. that track could change. rain chances could change for the valley but they're looking slight around 20 to 30%. any showers and thunderstorms will have the potential to produce heavy rain that could be leading to some localized flooding. no watches or warnings to tell you about
