the situation? reporter: chris, dms tells us a -- dps tells us a trooper went to pull over a driver and that's when the driver trysted grab airgun shoot at the -- tried to grab i gun and shoot the deputy. that guy is in custody now. after he tried to shoot the trooper, he led a chase with multiple agencies responding. this is i video from the intersection of indian school and granite. the guy was taken into custody in the apartment complex behind it. listen to the dispatch video of this. reporter: [inaudible] >> 91, i just had a guy pull a gun on me on the 101. he pulled something and i heard

the chamber. reporter: fortunately, that trooper was not hurt. several troopers back here on scene. we've seen them going to the back of the apartment complex with flashlights looking for evidence. >> thank you for that. a mobile home catches fire in phoenix overnight with an elderly woman, according to phoenix fire crews who was able to escape with minor injuries. sending us this video helping us tell the storiment thank you to them. you can see the home there gutted. crews were able to get the fire in control before it spread to the nearby homes. we spoke to a neighbor who helped that woman escape. >> she's in her 80s so i just crawled over the fence right there, and pretty much just
