they have a lot more questions than answers on this investigation. the body was found somewhere over here in this irrigation canal that you see here in west buckeye. now, what they are telling us, and take a look at our video, air 15 was over the scene yesterday when the call came in at 4:30 in the afternoon. buck aye police are telling us they still are not comfortable releasing exactly what the sex is of the body, also if it is male or female, or the edit necessity although -- ethnicity right now, although the public information officer ising an update right -- officer is getting an update right now. we don't have a lot of information just yet, though. only that it was a water rescue of a partially submerged body. they came out here and discovered there was, indeed, a body in the canal. there have be been a lot of -- have been a lot of questions to buckeye police if it is a

year-old missing over the summer, jessie wilson. hear what they have to say. >> i don't have that information from the detectives. i haven't received confirmation, but i don't believe that this investigation today is going in that direction. >> reporter: now, they have not been able to confirm it absolutely is not, but they believe it is not connected to jessie wilson. as far as who this body might be, they are looking at other missing person's report area and hoping to connect them that way. well, this morning we are tracking several breaking stories. we will begin in washington state where police are actively searching for the man that walked into a make-up store. you see it there at a macy's and just started shooting in there. norths are saying five people have died. a tragedy there in washington. a man flown in the hospital in really bad shape did die

five. the scary, tragic scene unfolding just after 7:00 on a busy night at cascade mall, about 65 miles north of seattle. this is the man that police say did it. this is him caught on surveillance video. he ran away and was last seen walking toward i-5 in that area. there is no telling where he could be. they are looking for him. they don't know what the motive behind the vicious attack is, either. we want to tell you police will be giving a life press conference in just a few minutes. we will see what they have to say. this is a live picture from that area there. it looks like they may be in a courthouse or council building or something where the police will be giving an update. we are hoping they will tell us a little more about the suspect, who he is, if they know where he is or what the motive was. as soon as she start speaking we will listen in with that latest information. in the meantime here? the valley a s.w.a.t.

authorities surrounding the home for six hours. police were first called out for a domestic violence call there. when police arrived they heard gunshots in the area. the s.w.a.t. team sent out a robot and that is when they discovered the body. a family fight ends with one man in the hospital with serious injuries. glendale police arriving to the apartment complex off of 47th avenue and maryland to find the man was stabbed. the same man because st with a married couple at the time when they got in an argument. he was stabbed with a large knife. to word on arrests identity. a valley teacher arrested for having sex with a student. the shocking thing is he has been in the classroom for years. allen johnson has been a teacher at cactus high school in 2011 where he was accused of having sex with a then 17-year-

to glendale police that say johnson had sex with the girl in a school bathroom and also inside his car. johnson's first court appearance did not go well with the judge. >> absolutely makes me incensed that you get a bond. you need to keep your mouth shut. >> johnson has a half a million dollar bopped. his current employer, paradise valley high school, says johnson is on paid leave pending this investigation. the images and almost unbelievable. scottsdale police say 28-year- old are doll foe ramirez, you see him here, was seen kidnapping a woman unconscious at the time and not even defense herself. this happened near the busy old town area. as the girl's friend went to get their car. we are told ramirez sexual assaulted the victim three times. for now detectives are investigating ramirez, not just for this case but maybe

if you think you have heard ramirez's name before, you are correct. it a former mma fighter. well, a story only to us at abc 15. he says he was pulled over for speeding last week. during the spot officer it's found a gram of pot in his car. he was given a ticket by the two officers here and they told him he had to eat the weed if he did not want to go to jail. >> he came up to me with the gram and said do you want to go home tonight? i was like yes, i want the go home. i have to work tomorrow.

your joyce, either you eat the marijuana or you go to jail tonight. i asked him do i really have to do this do i really have to do? i said it a couple times. >> castro is happy with the way the phoenix police department is handling the investigation and they are pushing for criminal charges against the two officers. is city of charlotte coming off a second overnight curfew as protests continued late into the night over the deadly police scooting of keith scott, demonstrators carrying signs saying just release the tapes, hoping the tapes would show more clearly what happened. scott's family released cell phone video showing the tense moments before and immediately after tuesday's shooting. >> he doesn't have a gun. he has a pdi. he is not going to do anything to you guys. he just took his medicine. don't do it. don't you do it.

>> did you shoot him? did you shoot him? >> the vote recorded by scott's buy -- the video recorded by scott's wife doesn't show if scott had a gun. now the family is calling for the release of two other video recordings by police, from another officer's body camera and the other is dash cam video. protesting taking place across the nation now to show solidarity with the people in charlotte and demanding justice and an end t shootings around the country. protests filling the streets of atlanta and portland and students and college football players and fans taking a knee on the field. democratic presidential candidate hillary clinton canceling her plan to visit charlotte releasing a statement late last night saying she is grateful for the invitation but postponing the visit since the city's resources are already stretched so thin. she was supposed to take a trip there tomorrow. she has a new plan.

a few minutes. police need your help to catch a man responsible for a shooting at 91st avenue and northern. the suspects were driving a silver or gray dodge challenger and a blue metallic jeep cherokee. police are saying they found the gun and the man has researching injuries. it -- has life-threatening injuries. it is a mess. we have seen it with our own eyes. the city of tempe cleaning the find out how you can help. this is one of many clean up events the city has planned in the next month. so far they have picked up ten tons of crash. look for our report in our evening newscast. viewers have reached out with this story so the city now taking action to do something about it. up what, today may not be a bad day to get out there and do cleaning up for anybody that has been out and about because it is like fall.

holding onto the breezes for tuesday. wednesday and thursday we could see the best chances of getting rain showers. by friday and into next weekend we will see some nice clearing. okay, well as promised, we want to bring you this breaking news update from what is happening in washington. we see police there talking. this is what we know right now. what you are seeing there, they are fielding questions from reporters. from what we were able to hear, they know now the suspect entered the mall without a weapon. about ten minutes later he shows up in the macy's with the hunting rifle and starts shooting into the crowd. we know four women were killed. one man was killed. what we know about the four women, the ages range from a teen to a senior. we know that unfortunately the victim's bodies are still in the mall right now a they continue to process that crime scene. there hasn't been an update yet on the suspect, though. we will continue to listen in on that. i believe we are carrying this live on abc15.com. is that right, nick? >> and facebook.
