diverted to england due to smokey cabin conditions. the airline says a samsung tablet became jammed inside a seat. smoke eventually started coming from the tablet and the seat's foam. the tablet is not part of samsung's recent recall when 1 million note 7 smartphones were called back. the city of charlotte is no longer under curfew. the major lifting it last night. it was put in effect thursday after violent protests. following the police shooting of keith scott. protesters remained peaceful outside the panthers' football game against the vikings sunday afternoon. and charlotte police released video of the shootling over the weekend, but it still leaves many questions. it shows scott getting out of the suv walking backwards slowly, hands at the side, and four shots ring out. it's not clear if anything is in his hands. >> you cannot determine whether it's a justified shoot only based on the video that's been released. but when you look at it initially, it looks like some

you might logically conclude that it is some sort of ankle holster. >> police also released these pictures of evidence taken from the scene, this gun, marijuana, an ankle holster and they say scott's dna fingerprints were found on that loaded gun. we're learning new information about the man suspected of shooting five people to death at a seattle area mall. the 20-year-old suspect is expected to make a court appearance later today. >> reporter: an alleged shooter, arcan cetin's house, we found his stepfather outside and in no mood to talk. alert police recognized and arrested the 20-yeaold cetin simply walking down the street near his home about 40 minutes from the scene of the shootings, a remarkably peaceful end to a hov horrific murder spree. >> he said nothing. he was zombie-like. >> reporter: it took police 24

students were feeling like, well, i can't come to school because my clothes aren't clean. >> no clean clothes, hearing it over and over. >> we have a washer and drier at home. it's just that our electricity was shut off. >> we had no clean clothes because we only had a little bit of money, and we used our money for food. >> reporter: so dr. gunn had an idea. she got in touch with whirlpool, asking for help. they immediately said yes, donating washers and dryers to washington elementary. >> they want you to put as many clothes fit in a bag, and then they have you bring them to the school. then they wash them. >> volunteers, parents cleaning clothes at school for free. and in just one year after 2,300 loads of laundry, attendance shot up 90%. >> went from being embarrassed to this confidence level of, look at me read. >> i feel like nothing can stop me. >> reporter: after dr. gunn's initial phone call, whirlpool
