live in your following the deadly pursuit from overnight? >> it stretched from -- look at the driver side window of this troopers suv. shattered right there. this is the crash scene right here. this was a high-speed chase, a trooper targeted at one point. katie connor joining us and you are at the scene what is the latest. >> one trooper has minor injuries after the suspect try to run him over. the eastbound lanes have just been reopen. westbound is still shut down as investigators try to figure out a motive. dps tried to pull the subject -- the suspect over and he led them on a high-speed chase and finally to the loop 101. here is where troopers tried to slow him down but instead the

is connected to a deadly crash in central city. this happened late saturday night. 68-year-old craig thomas was driving a truck when it collided with the truck. the driver of the truck was killed and so was the passenger. a 1-year-old child was sent to the hospital and the man was also hurt. no word if anyone was cited. closer to home a man facing two counts of murder after his pregnant wife. kenneth blair looked into the detention center. blair and the victim have two children who are home. blair says it was an accident. we're not done talking about hurricane matthew. it has fizzled off a bit out to see but it is not ready to quit. florida in north carolina still drying out and some still worried about flooding.
