custody. they found him throwing rocks at cars and stabbing signs a restaurant. he was arrested while trying to run from those officers. we now know more about the woman facing terrorism charges. take a look at this video justin, she is facing a judge for the first time, according to the paperwork just in from the state attorney's office, she was planning to visit her them with material to make an explosive device inside the state prison complex. her husband is serving a live -- a life sentence. the plan was to set off explosives to kill the warden and plant them in the visitors section in florence. according to the report, she -- he converted to a radical form of islam while in prison. central avenue at glendale is back opened after it was

there was a terrible crash there this morning that left a young man critically injured. abc15's justin pazera has more. >> reporter: this was closed down for much of rush-hour. this was jampacked with cars and their is now just evidence markers. take a look at this car wedged under the semi. the driver had to be extricated out of that car. we hearde with a severe head injury. we believe he was headed north on central when the 20 one-year-

he plowed into that trailer. we are not sure how fast he was going but we believe the semi was only going 30 miles an hour. that young man has a severe head injury. as for the traffic, if you were in this area this morning, you know it was a headache just trying to get around. you can see all of these cars are being forced down really small side streets, everyone trying to figure out exactly how to get around it. we are expecting an update on that young man. using critical condition at the hospital. in phoenix, justin pazera. this fire is being called suspicious. two family cars go up in flames. the fires were sparked near 75th avenue. in deer valley. everyone inside the home made it out okay. firefighters were able to control the flam didn't spread to the house nearby.. cause is under investigation. -- the cause of that fire is under investigation. two teenagers are in custody. these teenagers wanted to exchange items. police haven't told us what those items might be. shots were fired at some point between the 15-year-old in the 18-year-old. the crime spree, it's pretty

mesa pd is asking for your help right now taking down a man who sexually assaulted a woman in her own home. take a look at this sketch. this is the guy they want off the streets. this happened near university and lindsay. the man grabbed the victim by the arm and nader go inside of the home and then attacked her in a bathroom. the description is on your screen. he may be driving a gray or silver four-door sedan. a former firefighter pleaded not guilty to rape. he's accused of attacking a woman near cardinal stadium westmont. grabbed her by the hair and pulled her under a bridge where the assault supposedly took place. 's next court date is set for the 28th. the efforts to legalize pot hit the asu campus. a group of former law enforcement officers, we caught up with them. they are former dea agents. both of them spent a lot of time on the front lines in the war on drugs.

this one was a deadly one in connecticut. this was intentional as the twin-engine plane was on a busy street. the student pilot died and the fight instructor is in critical condition. here's where the case took a turn. the student is accused of taking the airplane into the ground was on a student visa from jordan and had an address in illinois park authorities say there's no indication that he lived in or visited that area. also happening across the nation, this gunman was not known police before he opened he began shooting last night during a domestic dispute. both of the officers right now are in stable by critical condition. matt morris and richard [ name indiscernible ] are 12 and 27 year veterans respectively. the suspect reportedly had a tactical shotgun and was wearing a ballistic vest. two airplanes clipped wings at new jersey's newark airport.
