rain chances on the encrease. 78 in deer valley. 71 in chandler. 80 in sky harbor. not showing showers or thunderstorms over the valley but not far. you travel to the north some sotty showers in the north -- spotty showers in the northwest. we have thunderstorms that are moving to the northwest near hayden and also oracle right now. the move into the valley. but most likely will stay along the rim with isolated rain chances overnight. better chances you'll see coming up tomorrow. here's how it maps out. tonight we'll keep the rain chances out until about 2:00, 3:00 in the morning. then we bring them up slightly. here in the valley tomorrow morning's commute looking dry. rain chances up to 20% in the late morning hours.

valley. near the white mountains and near hayden and oracle a few rumbles of thunder there. and even on i-10 to the east of tucson. we keep things dry through the next several hours here. 80 degrees in the phoenix metro. clouds increase tonight and the cloud cover will keep overnights lows -- overnight lows warmer. th 80s. and the chance for a few of those showers maybe a couple rumbles of thunder. not looking super widespread. spotty at best. best chances come at the sock hour thru midday -- 10:00 hour through midday. light to moderate rain. maybe a trace to a quarter of an inch in the valley. the higher terrain could see an inch or over thursday into friday.
