the investigation into hillary clinton's private e-mail server, and even admitting he wasn't sure the material was -- fbi director james comey told congress today, we have not changed our conclusions we expressed in july. back then, he called clinton's handling of e-mails careless, but saying no charges in the case. he said the new batch of e-mails contained duplicates of e-mails that had already been reviewed. agents sorted through thousands of e-mails found on a laptop shared by huma abedin and disgraced ex-congressman anthony weiner. being investigated for an alleged sexting scandal. the couple, now separated. >> it's like living a nightmare. >> pierre, so many doubted that the fbi could get through so many e-mails so quickly. but it turns out many were

states. but now they're looking ahead to the big rally tomorrow, a final passing of the torch. the obamas and clintons, side-by-side, taking place on philadelphia's independence mall. >> cecilia vega, in ohio. thank you. donald trump did not directly address the fbi announcement, but his campaign did and quickly. tom llamas is in michigan tonight. >> reporter: tonight, with news of the fbi's announcement breaking, donald trump's jet parked on a runway in minnesota. when he finally emerged, trump sticking to the script. >> real change also means restoring honesty to government. first thing you should do is get rid of clinton. >> reporter: no mention of director comey's latest bombshell. but trump's campaign advisors now attacking him. >> i thought, he's mishandled the investigation from the begin. and this proves it again.

tweeting, comey must be under tremendous pressure to cave like this. as trump's march to election day winds down, his supporters out in force. in iowa, excitement in the air. >> we're two days away. we will get the change you've been waiting for, for your entire life. >> reporter: overnight in nevada, a scare. the republican nominee spotting a protester in the crowd. >> we have one of those guys from the hillary clinton campaign. >> reporter: less than a minute later, secret service agents rushing the stage. trump, ducking do. security guards and police jumping barricades to calm the scene. sources tell abc news law enforcement jumped into action after someone shouted, gun. minutes later, trump was back. >> nobody said it was going to be easy for us. but we will never be stopped. never, ever be stopped. >> reporter: trump's son don jr.

days out? >> it's a map that still favors hillary clinton. here are the abc news race ratings. red states favor donald trump, blue states favor hillary clinton. if she just holds the states that favor her, on the top, 275 electoral votes, more than the 270 she needs to win. but the state democrats want to put this away, the state of florida. early voting ended today. democrats, with a 33,000 vote advantage over republicans florida, and the clinton team believes they have a big advantage among independents. if they carry florida, it's over. >> and many of the hispanic voters in that state could be important. and donald trump eyeing another big state tonight? >> yes, in the rust belt, wisconsin, michigan, pennsylvania, but no state more than michigan. they see signs they could win in

todd kohlhepp with a bombshell confession. today, charged with multiple counts of murder from that 13-year-old cold case. >> sir, just understanding the family is here, anything you wish to say at that time? >> not at this time, sir. >> reporter: the suspect saying few words. families in court. >> i prayed to god for 13 years to give answers. >> reporter: kohlhepp returned to his land saturday, showing authorities the location of two more graves on property. another body found just today. authorities say he may be responsible for at least seven murders. investigators identifying the body found friday as charlie carver. the boyfriend of kala brown. the woman being held on the property for two months.
