overnight to our west carrying over to the valley. so that haze thickened around here. there aren't any air quality alerts. we're going to see some of that dust linger in our air. so heads up if you are especially sensitive but as far as any alerts not seeing any right now. now that temperature so slow to warm that we're still in the 60s right now at 66 degrees. and check our dew point is down into the teens. we're still feeling some of those breezes and it will stay a bit breezy as we go into the afternoon. as we head towards a high of only 73 degrees. we are tracking more changes as rain is back in our forecast and we've got some cold temperatures to talk about tonight in

of parents behaving badly. where two young kids were left alone. said to be just 1 and 6 years old. security called police when the kids were overheard playing inside the room. officers found mom. they brought her back to the motel. police say dcs has been notified. also a chandler manning. 30-year-old joseph foster is facing serious morning. we're told he contacted an officer online thinking she was a teen and offered $600 a week in exchange for sex. he got busted near dobson and jermaine. you cannot arrest me until i know i have a warrant. >> hey. you can't hit a girl like that. >> hit her. >> a police officer in flagstaff on administrative leave after

are concerned by what's depicted in the video. we do not know why that woman was being arrested but flagstaff police did identify the officer as officer jeff bonar. fire crews working quickly to keep a mobile home fire from spreading quickly. crews told us that they were searching for the homeowners so it may not have been vacant. investigation. also breaking overnight a fight in phoenix ends with a man being stabbed. police were called to the budget hotel. we are still waiting on official details from police. but witnesses tell us that the second guy involved in this ran away. apparently the victim did not go to the hospital. there was quite a bit of blood on the scene so we're not sure of the extent of his injuries yet.

limited right now. we do know one person was taken into custody after a k-9 officer had to bite that person. we've reached out to police and are still waiting to get info. now over to buck eye. an 18-year-old caught in the act. family members came home and saw a car they didn't recognize. once they got inside they saw a man going through their home. it wasn't long before a fight broke out and then shots were fired. >> you've got to do what you've got to do to protect property and you know as long as nobody on my side of the family, the good guys won. nobody got hurt other than the bad guys. >> family members say the brother-in-law who fired his weapon is cooperating with the sheriffs. candles lining the ground. rene martinez and marcos valdez were killed.

that haze across the valley. still i've noticed a difference. as we look live. nothing but blue skies but with all that sunshine we are still warming much slower than yesterday as temperatures are actually running between about 5 and 10 degrees cooler in most valley cities. mesa gateway running 14 degrees cooler than 24 hours ago. colder, drier air moving into our state is going to make for a very slo today's temperatures will be much cooler than what we've felt. right now still plenty of 60s around the valley. glendale you're checking in at 67. 67 in dear valley. 68 in goodyear and if you're heading out to lunch you're still holding on to the 60s too. we will gradually warm into the 70s as we head into this afternoon. we are going to feel some of

and i expect they'll stay right around there as we go through the afternoon. up north still strong but not quite as strong as what we were feeling earlier this morning. but sustained winds in several spots across northern arizona. those wind gusts still peaking near 30 miles an hour in spots like prescott also strong still in cholo with a few spots upwards of 30 miles an hour. so we still had plenty of breezes across the state. i think here in the valley those through the afternoon. those winds still gusting at times near 30 miles an hour today before they start to lighten up as we go into tonight. and tonight with those lighter winds we will feel those colder temperatures too. today a very nice day. temperatures will go from 66 now until the low 70s. so for lunch we're still going to be in the 60s if you want to get outside and enjoy the midday. our high then eventually peaks

this afternoon. so again a gorgeous day. temperatures back down to 70 by 6:00 and temperatures across the valley are going to end up below average. we've got a whole lot of low sets out there. only make it into the upper 60s this afternoon. 703 for a high today in phoenix with 40s and 50s across northern arizona and even out to our west those highs only in the tonight gets even colder and we already have some freeze alerts that have been issued ahead of those colder temperatures. spots highlighted in this blue will be dropping below freezing today. i'll show you which spots will be the coldest and how cold it it will be in the valley by tomorrow morning in just a few minutes. a big meeting happening right inside these doors behind

morning as that storm system that brought those clouds out ahead of it moved through. a cold front pushing through. the rain, snow, mainly staying to our north and now we're just joan joying those dry conditions and that cooler, drier air. we are still feeling those stronger breezes. those wind gusts as high as 21 miles an hour. also cholo and stafford. the valley not feeling as strong of winds. will stay breezy across northern and eastern arizona. i think the valley will feel breezes between 5 and 15 miles an hour. i think we warm a couple degrees as we head into that lunch hour. and then our highs today into the 70s. with a high of 73 degrees. that will put our high two degrees below the average for this time of year. a cooler day on tap and not just

only in the upper 60s and we're talking pourts and 50s krs that northern half of our state. but our cool afternoon will lead to a cool night tonight. our temperatures will fall and so we've got some freeze warnings posted for some parts of the state. that includes areas along the rim from prescott up to the northwest into kingman. also in north central arizona and southeast arizona where temperatures are going to fall. check out the lows. 28 degrees in kingman. and also not far from freezing in spots like stafford. but even colder in the high country. we're talking temperatures overnight in the teens. flagstaff you'll start the day tomorrow at 16 degrees and cholo you're going to be cold too. so jacket weather of course up north. but here in the valley you might want to break out those sweaters or jackets by tomorrow morning. we're going to get the first 40s

so down to 48 in mesa. 49 in glendale and 47 over night. that temperature gets a little higher up to 77. then another drop in temperatures. by next monday we're talking highs in the 60s and 70s and it's because of this. rain chances look to go up by monday especially. so late sunday night through the day on monday. we're tracking potentially more widesp so i would avoid maybe making outdoor plans for monday as it's looking like it may be a potentially wet day here in the valley. keep you posted on how things develop as we get a little closer. know that monday getting closer. the next few days still very nice with those highs in the 70s just some colder mornings. now if of course you are already thinking about the holidays. maybe doing some shopping
