valley this maggie valley party -- a shooting outside of valley party. it happened in september. robert was shot dead and his brother was also shot in a nearby alley but he survived the detroit officer losing his battle to survive after being shot in the head. less than a year from his wedding and the night thanksgiving, he died in the hospital two hours ago. he was patrolling with two canine officers he stopped to talk to a man on a bicycle. that man is in custody. no charges have been filed but that man has had several run- ins with officers. he was set to be married next year. a neighborhood standoff in gilbert.
