the full-on meal. we're talking turkey with all of the trimmings and the meal prep, it's been going on for days. volunteers and cooks have been working around the clock to try to get ready for today. they're going to continue preparing this morning from 6:00 until 9:00. you see them working franlt cli and they're going to hope the doors at 9:30. these are full-on meals here. turkey, mashed potatoes. the mayor is expected to hand out some of the they really want these people to feel right at home. >> this is unbelievable adventure as they walk in because they are our guests. everyone is welcomed. when you come in the door you are greeted by a volunteer that makes you feel comfortable. >>reporter: so not everyone who needs a hot meal can come out here and get it. volunteers are going to deliver about 2200 meals across the valley. dinner is served here at 11:00

the driver did eventually return to that scene. this is near 59th avenue and ocotillo. police did question that person. developing right now, an investigative lead and a little more hope in getting justice for a man hit and dragged to his death in the east valley. we now know 4-9d-year-old eric gilbert was the one killed at 105th street and university. the lead isn't necessarily the run away driver, but at least a person who can provide some answerings chris? dan, it has been weeks since the presidential election and now there are calls for a recount. hillary clinton's lead over donald trump in the popular vote is nearing some 2 million votes. green party candidate jill stein will file for a recount in three battleground states. pennsylvania, wisconsin and michigan. trump solidly won the electoral college, dan. your help is needed to solve a father's murder.

condition? >>reporter: you know, the deputy is still in serious condition and lets kind of recap how this all started. they were apparently leaving herald corral right here and i want to point out there is a cross walk right here and if we look over here we can actually see some of the markings in the road from some of the debris that was scattered out basically through the main drag right through cave creek right here. that man, an off duty deputy, he is in serious condition. the female, his wife, she is critical condition. she does have life threatening injuries. we heard that she was airlifted from the scene here. we're trying to find out more about this driver though, the guy in the van. apparently there is no alcohol impairment is not believed to be involved in this, but we're still trying to figure out if that person is going to face any charges and we're also waiting to find out the identity of this mcso deputy and his wife. but again, he is in serious condition. she is in critical condition.
