that pooch has been through a lot. somebody in flag staff found the little dog in a wash. all of its legs duct taped. that hero heard the dog barking. the good samaritan eventually found the little pup. the vet says the dog is going to make it. so an arrest might be in the future here. their text messages and selfies won the internet and now a mesa teen to thanksgiving dinner. now it's just part of the. they met there. getting the whole family together. both say this year they're just thankful for such a profound lesson in kindness. >> i've never even seen her before and she welcomed me into her house so that shows me how great of a person she is. >> i see how important kindness

abc15 breaking news. it's 5:30 and my goodness this breaking news look at that pile of metal that's all that's left of a crash here involved in a wrong way collision hitting head on with a greyhound bus on the i-10 in goodyear allison rodriguez >> reporter: the only fatality that we have here that driver is dead. we know she's a woman from arizona here. it is a 2001 subaru. it's hard to even make that out. that's what i was asking the captain we were speaking with earlier. what kind of car is this. there are pieces of this car all along the i-10 right now

the impact on how severe it was. now we have the greyhound bus that stopped. we're told there were 305 people inside of there. they're all fortunately going to be okay. they were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. one person was taken out through the window of the vehicle there, of the bus to be taken to the hospital. again they're expected to be okay right now. the only person we know who has died is this driver going the wrong way they believe she got on around the 101. they tried to dispatch her -- they tried to dispatch troopers out here to stop her but unfortunately it was too late. this impact happened so quickly the driver of the bus didn't get a chance to take any action. >> unfortunately the bus driver was not able to take any evasive action and actually the full impact was head-on more to the

mug shots of guys who were wanted here. both were being held on webs charges. now this story here sort of like a movie. officers say they cut their way through the bars then repelled down the side of the jail building using sheets, bedding making a makeshift rope. two of them have been recaptured. investigators believe these guys did have help and another search happening right now. this is going knob texas for a missing boy. this is 9-year-old marcus mcgee. he's been missing since yesterday afternoon. his family says he suffers from autism. volunteers are searching at this moment to see if they can find him. something we're watching closely as that's developing.

just now joining us this is a look at the i-10 in goodyear. a woman behind the wheel of a subaru crashed head on into a bus. she was driving the wrong way. she died on the scene. no other serious injuries which is miraculous. mallory moore's going to join us on ways to get around it. meanwhile the search is happening right now for a involved in a deadly shooting in reno nevada. police may believe this may be a case of road rage in the parking lot of a walmart. two shoppers here both of them driving their respective cars got into a fight over a single parking space. well one of the drivers didn't like what was happening so they opened fire. the identity of the victim who died not yet known. dan that's an ongoing investigation. >> terrible chris. hey how about a kick flip to

skateboard. an officer in san francisco recovering from a serious head injury. witnesses on scene say the suspect was acting erratically and bothering people. the officer approached him so the guy picked up the skateboard and swung it right into the officer's head. hit him so hard he fell to the ground. the officer is expected to be okay. many recalled items are still up for sale. often time officers say the items can pose serious danger. toys pr us temporarily removed that toy from the store. >> they're a third party sellers online that may not have the oversight to realize they've been recalled. >> so remember that before you buy. this year alone at least 44 toys
