♪ san jose police are looking for a missing 18-year-old woman. police say a jilted boyfriend kidnapped her after stabbing her latest love interest but her own mother tells a different story. terry mcsweeney is live at san jose police headquarterwith the latest. terry? >> yeah. a woman broug home a man to her neighborhood home saturday night. sunday morning the two were caught in bed by her boyfriend. and it's what happened after that that has san jose police desperately searching for that woman this morning. >> when brian stabbed him, where did he get that weapon? >> in the kitchen. >> what did he use?

employees unions and others. some 200,000 workers have affected. in today's ruling the justices sided with the governor saying the state legislature 2009 budget legislation validates his furlough program. jerry brown and republicaneg whitman will square off again next tuesday in the third debate of the governor's race. it will be in san rafa in a debate moderated by tom brokaw and comes after a contentious debate between th two this past weekend. they clarked over immigration before mostly a latino audience at fresno state university on start. the legal status put the foer housekeeper acenter stage. diaz, an illegal immigrant, was whitman's houseeper nine years. she fired her short lit after the e-bay ceo declared her candidacy for governo it happened when whitman learn she was undocumented. >> jerry, you should be ashamed.

no other local buildings were damaged. cleanup crews are monitoring a fuel spill in downtown san jose over the weekend. the problem starte around 5:00 saturday evening when a rooftop tank for an emergency generator sprang a leak. that provides backup por for the 9-1-1 system. some of the 1300 gallons of diesel fuel made it into the guadeloupeiver near h. p. pavilion. some residents feel more could have been done to protect the river. but officials say the booms are holding and most of the fuel has dissipated. muni has found a sure-fire remedy for drivers' sick calls. they require a doctor's note from any driver who calls in sick. the san francisco examiner reports since managent requiresrivers to provide physici documentation when calling in sick, the daily rates of mi operators missing work due to ailments has fallen by 42%. the pocy was changed after rumors bega swirling about a possible sickout by drivers in protest of recent wage cuts.

starting today the ride to work got a little faster for thousands of san jose commuters. the vaey transportation authorityuled out the first commuter express light rail trains. this is the first major train during its history. it will go with fewer stops shaving 6 to 8 minutes off the trip from south san jose into downtown. they offer free wi-fi internet access. look for cars with wi-fi on board stickers. the giants preparing for their first playoff game after drama fashion in the regular season. ♪ there are new warnings about your laptop, specifally what it may be doing to your skin dermatologists say the heat from your laptop can lead to a condition called toasted skin syndrome. the temperature can reach 125 degrees leading to the darkening of skin it comes into contact with, hence the term toasted

skin syndrome. it'often harmless but in rare cases it can lead to skin cancer just like overexposur to the sun. the study can be found in the journal of pediatrics. forget the achievement gap or the pay gap. men and women are seeing a sexual experience gap. while 85% of men say their last sexual partner had an orgasm, only 64% of women say that was true. the india university study surveyed nearly 6,000 men and women who repord engaging in 41 combinations o sexual acts. one alarming finding, one-third of women experience pain during sex. an encouraging finding as well. 14 to 17-year-old boys are using condoms at a much higher rate than the overall male population. 79% to 25%. the study was funded by the mak of trojon condoms. it appears in the journal of sexual medicine.
