arresting diaz in los anges this morning. >> i'm sure they walked up with guns drawn but there was no fleeing, there was no flight. >> fremont police detectives have been on the hunt for diaz since monday morng when he plowed a delivery van into motorcycle officer patrick brower. when the 43-year-old officer spotted the van, diaz saw him but chose instead to ram into him dragging him against two lanes of trfic and pinning him against light pole. the officer survived but with a leg wound. >> knowing he was out of the l.a. area and l.a p. d. this intel vince on him, there was a prediction where he may flee to. >> those locations were being watched closely and officers saw diaz walk into a los geles home he was known to visit. >> he continued to watch the

committees are considering legislation to provide disaster relief for the families and community impacted by the san brungas explosion and fire. meantime pg&e has changed its mind and decided it wi now release maps of its pipelines and shutoff valves to local fire departments. the utilit has notified san jose and contra costa couy leads that it will provide them wh detailed maps but ordered them not to make the maps public. a federal agency admitted they can't give out those maps under open records becae the government doesn't have copi of the various utities' emergency plans. there's currently no regulation requiring companies to submit their plans. >> investigato are at the scene of a suspicious fire of an abandoned building in east oakland trying to determine a cause. that fire was first reported just after 11:00 last night. it took about an hour for cws to knock it down but not before it had done seriousamage to the structure officials say ts is the fifth

san francisco tour bus operators will soon have to unplug their microphones. board of supervisors president david shu asked for new rules reguting the tourists. he wants to restrict loud speakers to announce touris sites. many residents complned about the loud commentary coming from open air sight seeing buses. he wants penalties for bus that idle too long or block traffic. passengers will be offered head phones the new federal healthcare overhaul is going to mean millions of californians will be able to afford health insurance. that's according to an independent study. an estimated 3.500-0000 california will be eligible for federal tax credit to cut the cost of their health coverage. the benefits would kick in when they begin buying policies from the insurance exchange being set up the beginning of the year 2014. >> eco friendly isn't always consumer friendly.
