detail >> while the strike is going on the hospital is fully operational but elective operations have been ccelled. they say the hospital needs a compromise for more becse of the economy. nurs say they are already at the bottom and it should come off the top. >> they walked out their jobs at 7:00 ts morning. they will coinue to strike for the next three days. the issue as it oftentimes is, money. the hospital is proposing the nurses pay 15% of their health care benefits. if they use a premium ppo plan which nurses say most do, which could add up to $4,00 more a year. for nurses like wendy who has been here for 23 years, it's frustrating, especially since they have agreed to a pay freeze the first year. >> we have better health plans,

>> reporter: they were tears there. she is the one that pushed this light and to be appred in a matter o three months before the oakland city council. that is happening at warp spd. oakland police have a presence out there that letting people know this homicide. that number is 7767-3211. any information on that -- 777-3211. any information the four-door sedan tt killed wilams this intersection. >> the military hearing to the shooting case was delayed until tomorrow morning. hasan is charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder. the defense team requested the delay. it's been nearly a year since the deadly shooting.

anticipation wl be a happy ending. yesterday the test of the capsule went so well, the focus is last minute preparation paramedics will have tbe lowered down intthe mine. they willbe on the ground throughout the rescue process and miners have to be readied for this experience. they are on liquid diets and wearing special garments. there is some concerns there could be blood clot probms for the miners. this is special precautns that is taking place as we spea they will be raised one by one out of the mine. it will take 15 minutes for that process to be over and once they break the surface they will be taken into for medical assessment. though hope is they will be reuned with their family members that have bn waiting for days.
