he' just spend, and spend, and spend. s. >> a massive early morning fire leaves dozens without a place to live. >> it was reported 5:20 in the 800 block between sutter and bush street. terry mcsweeney joins us and they had to make a run for it. >> they really did. and 75 people have checked in at the evacuation center at st. frans hospital which is one block where that fire burned. you can see the blackened face of that artment building. that is the one. many are allowed back int surroundinbuildings but maybe 40 forced to find somewhere else to live on a permanent basis following spectacular fire that gave firefighters all they could handle. the call came int the fire

enter a plea th afternoon. officials lieve the suspects ages 16 and 17 are responsib for the july 5th arson at trace elementary school. the santa clara distric attorney's office is charging the boys as adults. each faces one felony count of aggravated arson. prosecutors say there's evidence the fire was premeditated and intentionall set. donations helped the school reopened as schedule in august but the students are attending class in portable trailers. >> officials at san francisco general hospil are hoping you can help identify a mystery patien this woman is listed in critical condition there but nobody knows if she is. she was found injured next to a wheelchair on the embarcadero in san francisco ten days ago. if you know who she is, please call the hospital. the number is on your screen there, 415-206-5822. we have it posted on our webse abc7news.com. >> the obama administraon is now asking a fedal appeals court in san francisco to

suspend a judge's ruling that overturned military's don't ask don't tell policy. president obama favo eliminating the policy concerning gays in the military but the governor believes that allowing the judge's current ruling to remain in place would create a majo problem for the military. the department argues that leaving -- unless that stay is issued members that reveal their sexual orientation could be discharged if the ruling is overturned by a higher court. >> the federal government may sue california if voters approve position 19 which would legaze marijuana in the state. eric holder was in los angeles to announce that the u.s. government wld "vigorouy enforce federal laws tt ban the possession and distribution of marijuana even if a state law allows those activities." the drug czar weighed in on voters previously approving medical marijuana. >> we believe that medicine should be determined by the process that already exitses in

infants. the strollers recalled are the quattro tour and metro light strollers made before 2007. the consumer product safety commission says if babies are not strapped in properly, they can slide through the opening between the stroller tra and bottom of the seat where they can get stuck and be strangle the company's providing customers with a free repair kit. two auto makers announcing recalls. volv recalling 10,000 vehicles because the air bags may not deploy in a crash. it has vehics from the 2010 and 2011 model year and 201 v-70 wagons. there could be a proem with the wiring connector in the air bag system. the company says dealers will fix the problem free of charge. and chrysler is recalling about 26,000 cars and pickup trucks because power steering fluid ca leak and start a fire.
