glaser. >> leigh: we're arting to see this heavy rain moving across the bay area for the last several hours. starting to thin a little bit. obviously you can see on live doppler 7hd the yellow much out that has started to exit the bay area. we're seeing moderate rain, santa rosa, petaluma and novato. napa got a hit with heavy rain. the east bay, a little clring there. also seeing that heavy rain starting to move out of the milpitas area. san jose reporting rain as well, and we're seeing band of rain sitting near accept -- santa cruz some of the heaviest rains have moved through. we have another second area of heavy rain that will move in tonight. >> alan: all this wet weather has led to minor flooding and accidents, we're in oakland at third and washington tonight with more.

that's going to ta place overnight. by 8:00, that's when that secondy band of actual cold front will start to bring more band of heavy rain across the bay area, and it wi be with us off and on this evening, and behind it some strong souther winds. tomorrow, some moisture around the bay area, and then once we get on the back side of the front and the drier air moves in, we'll start to clear things up, and tomorrow afternoon well return to sunshine. the wind up. wind advisory up to 5:00 a.m. tomorrow, mainly at the coast, and the coastal hills. in fact, just in the last hour, point reyes reported gust of 47 miles-per-hr. so clearly the winds are up out of the south, expected from 20 to as much as 45 miles-per-hour. a winter weather advisy until 7:00 tomorrow morning for the sierra nevada. 6 to 12 inches of snow above the 7,000-foot area. lake tahoe, 41 degrees, so the
