four counts of murder with special circumstances. while the murders that this talks about occurred in northern california, police from new york state are also interested in this case thinking that he may be involved with murders back there. 77-year-old joseph naso is going to be in court at 1:30 this afternoon. he allegedly killed two bay area woman, one that was dumped in fairfax county and one that was dumped in contra costa county but new york state police are wondering if this image put together by investigators in 1973. he would have been 39 years old. if the artist rendition based on eyewitness account that three girls were murdered in the rochester area. it was dubbed the initial killings because the first and last name's initial is the same.

in fact one of girls killed in new york was also named carmen cologne. investigators found evidence connecting him to the california killings but found nothing tying him to the new york homicides. he did live there in rochester, a dna sample from the victim did not match naso. he says he had permission from other jurisdictions to prosecute all four cases. he is being held without bond. it will be making his first court appearance at 1:30 this afternoon. >> cheryl: funeral services are taking place at this moment for a popular oakland businessman who was murdered last week. campos was killed when he was opening his mexican restaurant in the fruitvale district. traditional native dancers were

an autopsy will be performed on a patient who died on monday at napa state hospital. staff members are now concerned about possible retaliation. according to the sheriff's department, 47-year-old william roebling was subdued after accused of attacking another patient. staff members are worried what other patients might do. >> there are some individual and some of the patients that are threatening other staff because one of the patients died. and patients and staff are both really worried, they are scared, they are scared something else is going to happen. >> earlier this year, employees held several protests demanding more security after two attempts attacks on staff. >> cheryl: an air controller was apparently sleep on the job. this morning this incident

the storm is bringing another nice blanket of late season snow to the ski resorts in tahoe, just hurts to watch all those empty chair lifting by. you can see some of the storms that are moving away from san francisco right now. you can see them also on live doppler 7 hd. best rain in the diablo range and one of strongest moving down to morgan hill. when the storms came through, it left .01 in san jose and .11 in oakland. it's going to continue the shrinking pattern as it heads eventually to fresno. if you are heading out. be prepared for scattered showers, upper 40s around san rafael and concord. to mid-50s elsewhere. low to mid-50s around the
