murdering her friend. they want her to reveal the whereabouts of le's body. >> reporter: giselle esteban was a no-show in court. but friends and relatives still attended the hearing. the man that may be at the center of this was also here. that is scott marasegan. he didn't say anything about the case did you the defendant is the mother of the child and she blames le for their break-up but police have not said what the they believe is the motive for the murder. we have video from another poows but she waived her right to appear today. she is accused of murdering michelle le. le's body has not been found but police have enough evidence think they have enough evidence to prove that she killed le.

after a brief set back. they say his infections are gone and now they can attend to other problems. he suffered brain injuries when he was beaten in the parking lot of dodgers stadium after a game back in april on opening day. >> investigators say two people found dead inside a burning oakland apartment may have been killed in a drug dispute. the bodies were found early in the morning on the second floor of a building. homicide sergeant tells the san francisco chronicle the victims may have been assaulted before the apartment was burned. one witness said they saw somebody brung mr. the house carrying a gas can. victims' names have not been released. oakland homicide rate is 83 compared to 63 last year. >> computers take note. protestors are planning another bart disruption today. they plan to demonstrate at powell street embarcadero and

civic center stations today. they have planned a protest every monday for five weeks in response to shutting down cellphone last month in a protest over the killing of charles hill in july. a protest by another group, no justice, no bart shut down the powell street station with police arresting more than two dozen demonstrators. f.b.i. and department of homeland security have opened a series of official investigations into the hack or group. they have carried out more than 75 raids and arrested 16 people this year in connection with illegal hacking jobs claimed by anonymous. president obama is challenging congress to pass his new jobs bill right away and he wants republicans to stop playing politics. plant includes a cut in payroll cuts in social and extension of jonlts benefits. john hendron reports. >> first came the plan and now comes the pressure. >> this is bill that congress

the project has taken a long time to complete. nick smith joins us near the great highway with more. and they had it installed today. >> a long time for it to happen. if you look behind me hundred people are gathered for the ceremony. only minutes one of crowning achievements of golden gate park will be complete. this dome will be lifted in place to top ai top the south windmill at a ceremony scheduled in minutes. officials and international representatives are on hand to for installation of the refurbished dome. because of the surviving blueprints of the original structure was inaccurate or incomplete the designing architect had to start from scratch. >> we measured and numbered every single stick. and then we dismantled the

windmill and then we did trial parts, which ones could not be reused and replaced those with wood. and we reconstructed it. >> the restoration project has taken more than ten years because the cap had to shipped and delivered from the netherlands. windmill is only one of two traditional style windmills and will be used to pump water. right now you see the live look at the construction workers that are actually taking part of the construction. when they actually do, they will have to fit it completely because there had no plans from which to work. the windmill itself will rely solely on wind power. they haven't decided where it will pump water too because it's no longer needed for the eastern

11:21 as we are looking from mount tamalpais. some of the mid-level moisture as the main storm has collapsed for today. as we look eastbound toward mount diablo. you see it's hazy but nothing to worry about any poor air quality. we do not have a spare-the-air day. you can see what is going on all levels of the atmosphere. here is the storms is what is left over. they are backing our way towards us but shrinking and even at the coast you can see it's pushing away some of the clouds there, too. i think today will be warmer. but these storms will regenerate tonight and everywhere you see in green, flash flood watch until 11:00 this evening. we could have mud slight and pretty healthy rain up there. temperatures in the 50s and 70s showing up around novato total south bay and to the east bay

valleys. plenty of sunshine around the monterey bay. mid 50s for santa cruz. low to mid-70s for everyone else. three things i want you to know about this forecast, partly cloudy conditions today, warmer temperatures inland. storms and flooding not only today but again tomorrow and then all of us will see warmer weather tomorrow into wednesday. you can see the inland areas warm. concord, santa rosa, 9 degrees warmer, oakland, san jose and san francisco within a couple of degrees of where we were yesterday. east bay valleys, warmest weather, 80 in dublin to mid 80 as as you head out towards brentwood all the way to 77 in fremont. most of east bayshore in the mid-70s. mid to upper 70s around the south bay. 80 in campbell and los gatos. here is a look at the peninsula mid to upper 70s, down 72 in millbrae. even with the coast sunshine, mid-50s. a little warmer down san francisco and sausalito mid-70s.

monterey bay, 68 in monterey. 72 in santa cruz and low to mid 80s around a morgan hill and gilroy. storms are developing up in the sierra, 74 in tahoe and not as warm as it has been in the central valley as the last couple of days where we were in the 90s. we're almost out of it but padres are in town and giants game out at at&t park. 7:15, 61 dropping down to 57. we won't be quite as warm tomorrow morning. any drizzle you can see it along the coast. temperatures in the 50s. accu-weather seven-day forecast, notice away from the coast we're about i would say 2-4 degrees warm tomorrow. cooling trend for thursday and friday and slightly warmer for saturday and sunday. no big swings in the forecast. volkswagen is recalling 30,000 sedans. recall affects 2011 and 2012
