you can follow a blood trail from the house where the attack happened down 20th avenue over to the restaurant to where that woman ran to get help from police. police are turning to people in this area asking for help from a frightened public police say waits a little after 9:00 last night a man forced his way into this house, viciously assaulting the 76-year-old woman inside. the home invasion was unexpectedly interrupted by a 56-year-old delivery woman from a near restaurant. she too was brutally assaulted. >> the weapons involved was a hammer and knife. one of the victims received cuts and lacerations and also hammer strikes. >> reporter: the delivery woman bleeding profusely made it back not ice house restaurant a half block away. police were notified. both victims suffered life-threatening injuries. police say had that deliver woman not come along when she did the first woman

data back to criminal networks in several countries, including russia and have been doing it for 10 years itch city college just discovered the problem after thanksgiving. >> i was really surprised that it took that long for them to figure that out. so many students have come through the doors and that's like a gold mine of information and money and accounts. thousands of students undoubtedly affected. >> reporter: city college spokesperson told us he needs the chancellor's permission before he can talk to us then we never heard from him again and the chancellor isn't available. the college does have a mess on its hands. s of thousands of students could -- tens of thousands of students could become victims. the college hasn't figured out how to notify the victims or
