>> kristen: good morning, i'm kristen sze. >> cheryl: i'm cheryl jennings. there is mysterious questions surrounding a mass murder last friday even after police arrested this man in the brutal killings of five people. amy hollyfield joins us live. >> reporter: they still have crime tape up at this house, police say there are multiple crime scenes inside this home and they want to thoroughly process it. they have no estimated time when they will be finished inside. outside they are remembering the five victims with flowers. police think the victims did know their killer and the attack

was not random. they have arrest dead binh thai luc and booked him for murder. they are starting to piece the victims how they were killed. they have unand questions about what the motive was behind the murder. all these unanswered questions have neighbors full of concern. >> they say they have someone in custody, it's not like for thur necessity they know who did it. >> there was blunt trauma to the victims. we don't know anything more than that, there was an edged weapon involved. we don't know the circumstances until we get that from medical examiner. >> reporter: he here is the cellphone video of viewer sent to us of the s.w.a.t. team moving in. the suspect has possible gang ties but they haven't said was the motive was behind these murders. we asked the jail this morning

for an interview with the suspect, but they say he is housed in a special observation section of the jail so interviews are not allowed in that area. they say no problems have been reported with him. as to the victims they have not been identified yet. coroner is working on the autopsies now and possibly be able to identify the victims later this afternoon. the scene was shocking in its brutality. they have 40 investigators assigned to the case. they say it's a tough one but working to get it all figured out. amy hollyfield, "abc 7 news". >> kristen: a major search is being planned tomorrow for the morgan hill teenager missing for ten days now. leading advocacy group is helping volunteers to in the latest search for sierra lamar. live with the very latest. >> we're at the bus stop where sierra would have been headed on the morning she disappeared.

it's quiet as far as active search goes, as you can see from the missing posters that mark the intersection, her case is very much in the forefront in community. santa clara county spokesperson say they are working in the field and in their offices. tomorrow will mark a new chapter in all of this. klas kids foundation is organizing searches for days on end. sierra's mother asked them and mark klas said they were more than happy to do so. they will be searching morning and afternoon rain or shine, staging at elementary school on tilton road. i talked with mark klass this morning and they are hoping for a good turnout of volunteers. i use the word hope because he says nobody should give up hope that sierra can still be found alive and well. >> instead of statistics on you,

elizabeth smart was recovered many months. jaycee dugard was recovered after two decades. hope remains alive until somebody can prove otherwise. >> you can looking of video at a vigil that was held last night. the 15-year-old disappeared a week ago friday. she would have been walking from home to the bus stop and she never made it to school. police have sense found her bag with clothes neatly folded inside and her cellphone. they do not believe that she ran away. so again the search is imperative to help bring sierra home safely. if you would like to help, here are the rules for the foundation search. you need to be at least 18 years old and bring with you photo identification. and dress appropriately, comfortable and warm and it

>> cheryl: supreme court is in the first day of the three-day hearings in health care. demonstrators made their case outside course.

>> reporter: the bitter battle over healthcare has reached the supreme court. the affordable care act is the signature legislation of president obama's administration and the most controversial. law requires all americans to buy health insurance by 2014 or else pay a penalty. the central question for the supreme court is that mandate constitutional. if it isn't, what does it mean for rest of the law? two years ago president obama signed the legislation with great fanfare. >> health insurance becomes law in the united states of america. >> reporter: but before the ink was dry legal fight began. >> i'm confident the court is going to declare the new law unconstitutional. >> 26 states filed suit. their argument, congress doesn't have the authority to force an individual to buy something. if the insurance is mandate is constitutional there is no limit to what the federal government can force americans can do. but lawyers for the obama

4 degrees. redwood city, 5 degrees. napa 8 degrees cooler than average. it will be increasingly cloudy during the afternoon hours. temperatures in the upper 50s along the coast. north bay, low 50s and the rest of us in the low to mid-50s. low to mid-50s as you head through the rest of the bay wato the inland. southerly flow coming in. 50 in richmond and san francisco and san mateo. mid to upper 40s and notice where it is raining up in the north bay. we'll get the first part of the storm to come in during the overnight hours with this bathroom front. north bay will get rain. not today. we have clouds on the increase through 6:00, nice commute home and by 1:00, all the way through most of the rain stays in the north bay by 12:00, in the north bay and moves down to the south

through the evening commute. finally gets down to the south bay and hangs into the bay through wednesday morning. by noon it starts to shift by the south bay and wednesday afternoon it is finally over. up to four inches in the north bay mountains. half an inch around the bay. quarter to three-quarters in the south bay. as you look at the sierra, winter storm watch tomorrow afternoon through wednesday afternoon, a couple feet above 7500 feet. look at accu-weather forecast, we pretty much stay at the 50s at the coast. low to mid-50s for the rest of us. most of the showers will stay north of the bay area. slight chance of some rain saturday but only saturday, sunday could be the better day to be outside this weekend. >> cheryl: groundbreaking research that weight loss surgery can reverse and possibly cure diabetes. it should be offer sooner, not just as a last resort.
