sailing race and not coming home. >> reporter: around the club's director announced he's not questioning the coast guard's decision to call off the search for four sailors. >> this morning it is con financialed -- it has confirmed our worst beliefs. a new day of incredible sadness. >> reporter: alexis b usc h was the only woman among the four missing the girlfriend of one the crewmembers who survived, who broke his leg in accident. busch posted this video on youtube of the boat called low speed chase, during another race. among the missing a man of tiburon described as a great sailor grew up on the water, married two adult children. cahill brought a friend elmer who wasn't a sailor. >> was visiting from ireland. and he was invited to go along.

>> reporter: morrisey is also now missing. the fourth missing crewmember is 25-year-old jordan fromm of san rafael. 46-year-old man's bed recovered over the -- body was recovered over the weekend. >> wonderful young guy, artist, his dad was a close friend of mine. we used to take the ferry to the city all the time. it is a real tragedy. >> reporter: there were eight people on board for this race. it appears three have survived those rough waves. there were 48 other boats in this competition. some of the other sailors say the conditions were normal for this time of year. they say sometimes there's just a rogue wave or two and they say that's pretty normal and they going to have to call this a tragic accident. they will be reviewing the race. amy hollyfield, abc7 news.

alexis the only woman among the missing boaters. when barry bonds hit his 5th homerun that's alexis the first to great him at home plate she was the giants' batgirl. her father is a former giants executive who worked for the late mayor mosconey. alexis in her 20s was known to be an experienced sailor. stay with abc7 for the latest on the missing sailors. you can go to abc7news.com any time for updates. police say a petaluma woman's visit to a divorce attorney this weekend ended with her estranged husband shooting and killing her before he turned the again on himself yesterday afternoon along keller street in front of a small office building. the woman had been meeting

with a divorce lawyer and that attorney witnessed the shooting. investigators are questioning the attorney. they don't believe there are outstanding suspects. while the police are not identifying the victims, friends say they are kevin and kim conover. she was a mother of four. tonight the family of missing morgan hill teenager sierra lamar will hold a candlelight vigil to mark one month since she was last seen. investigators believe she was abducted. there has been a near daily search effort for her. volunteer searchers were out again over the weekend. divers have been looking for clues in lakes and reservoir. so far, sadly they've found nothing. her family will hold that vigil 6:30 tonight at burnet elementary school. oakland police are trying to figure out why a car collided with an empty school bus near the alameda county courthouse this morning. a subaru and the bus crashed

into each other 9:30. there were no children onboard that school bus. neither driver was seriously hurt but the wrecked vehicles toppled a pole that supported a traffic signal. caltrain is up and running again after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a train this morning. rail service was stopped if both directions after the victim was struck by a northbound train at san mateo's hayward park station after 7:30 this morning. caltrain now says investigators believe the person intentionally stepped in front of the train. there were 45 minute delays as police investigated. delta airlines jumbo jet back in the air after making a emergency landing in ireland because of a bomb scare. the 767 was flying froms stan bull, turkey to kennedy air -- from istanbul, turkey to kennedy airport. police searched it and found nothing the aircraft was

big heads-up to drivers who use the san francisco approach to the golden gate bridge starting tonight continuing every night until april 27th, caltrans is going to shutdown the right hand northbound lane on doyle drive. they want to remove sections of the adjacent sidewalk bridge. the closures will be 8 p.m. to
