live doppler 7 hd shows over the last three hours the best chance of any showers is in the north bay as we talked about at the top of the show. that is where they stay. you can see those showers are losing their yellows and they are light green to dark green which is a light rain and everywhere else is a stray sprinkle, maybe a stray shower but mostly we are pretty good for the rest of the day. the less cloud cover we have the more likely we are to see less rain because we will not get the sun like we have right here from south beach looking back to oakland. temperature right now is 55, that is what we have if san francisco, also, in san jose. and mill valley. we are about 54 in oakland, walnut creek is 56 and palo alto is 57 and that is the warm spot. san jose, mainly cloudy conditions as we look at downtown, some other temperatures, 48 in santa rosa and cooler there because of waves of rain, and we have mid-50's for napa, fairfield, fremont and gilroy.

as the low pulls arm by 10:00, you can see the rain is tapering and well wake up friday morning under mostly cloudy conditions with fog, and you can see the dry air behind the system coming in and clearing us out for friday evening festivities. rainfall amounts with the next system, .25 to .5" is possible and maybe up to 1" or 1.25" in the higher elevations around the bay, could get up to .75". that is unlikely. today, low-to-mid 50's along the coast and mid-to-upper 50's for the rest of us. the winds we dealt with this morning, they are gone for the most part. temperatures are coolest tomorrow, low-to-mid 50's and sleet from the storm. friday we have clearing and temperatures respond but saturday back to average, we lose an hour of sleep saturday night into sunday as daylight savings begins and save the batteryies. the 70's are back sunday inland
