live on the embarcadero with more on this developing story. fleet week is still happening without the star attraction? >> reporter: so far so good but not with the blue angels. you know how painful it is for aviation enthusiasts. you can blame the sequester as you said. the pentagon has to deal with budget cuts because of it and it looks like entertainment will be the first to take a hit. the navy says all the performances are cancelled. so no f-18 fighters streaking through the skies. the squadron will stay in pensacola, florida and fly just enough to stay proficient and safe. san francisco business depends a lot on the revenue generated by fleet week and blue angel performances and organizers say they will take a hit. >> a lot of people will come out

saturday morning is the parade of ships. that i don't know about it. we may not get a parade 6 ships. that will be the next probably shoe that will drop. first, the blue angels and then the parade of ships that come from up san diego. >> reporter: that would be the they've ships. civilian ships may still be available. that is some view, but the fans the people who plan their weekend about seeing the blue angels are worried about what is going to happen in the fall. >> i am a big fan, it's an amazing piece of engineering, you know, it's a question of like where do they make the cuts. >> i think fleet week has a lot of other things going on, unless the whole thing is cancelled. >> reporter: blue angel participation, it costs money to

have the high performance jets and support people fly out here. navy figures it represents what they do and waves the flag a bit. it helps with enlistment, as well. we'll keep track of what is going on with the air force thunderbirds which is their demonstration team and fleet of ships that the captain mentioned just moments ago. we'll tell you more about that as soon as we find out. >> cheryl: contra costa county health officials are dealing with a case of tuberculosis at a student in antioch. that means students and staff were exposed may have to be tested a couple of times. amy hollyfield joins us outside the health department in martinez. >> reporter: good morning. health officials tell us the student is okay. is no longer infectious and is back at school. now the focus is making sure that t.b. doesn't spread. >> health care workers will be at deer valley handgun to test

students for tuberculosis. some parents say they don't think they can wait that long. >> i wish it were today. i'm sure everything will be fine. >> i'll get her tested. as a matter of fact when we get home from school today i'll take her. >> a student tested positive for t.b. in march. after conducting an investigation they decided all kids in the infected students's classes and extracurricular activity should be tested. parents were called yesterday. >> it's a little unnerving. its serious situation. i think they are doing what they can to inform everybody. >> the last time health care workers tested for t.b. on a contra costa campus was in 2009 when a student at antioch high had the disease. >> that is how you find out things. it's unexpected, you never know. >> t.b. is serious disease but

community college. they are searching for another suspect. at least 14 people were stabbed. two medical helicopters rushed victims from the campus to nearby trauma centers. they raced to the lone star campus. police chief will hold a townhall meeting to discuss an officer-involved shooting in the mission district. two people got a confrontation outside the elbow room on 17th street around 2:00 sunday morning. one person pulled out what appeared to be a gun. they ran in to tell officers. police shot the suspect and another person. both have life-threatening injuries. weapon turned out to be an air powered firearm. the officers are on paid administrative leave. tonight's townhall meeting is at 5:00 p.m. at cornerstone church on 17th street. we have more details on our website. what is happening in the south bay, a search is under way for a 76-year-old man with early

signs of alzheimer's disease. they say he has been missing since sunday. he was last seen at a friend's house in east san jose. lopez went for a walk but never came back. he was wearing khaki pants and a green jacket. relatives say he walks with a limp and likes to visit our native guadalupe church. >> moraga police are looking for a man that sexually assaulted a coed in our campus apartment over the weekend. cornell bernard is live at the school. students have received an alert? >> reporter: yes, they have. they are getting an email crime alert about the sexual assault of that female student. police today are looking for a suspect. >> campus safety is our priority. i want to make sure that everyone on our college campus understands that. >> campus officials are trying

to calm the nerves of students at st. mary's college in the wake of the sexual assault that happened on saturday on a residents hall. >> the young lady met a gentleman somewhere off campus and came back and sometime early in the morning on saturday morning, an assault or battery occurred. >> police say the suspect was not a st. mary's student. he is described as a white male, 21 years old, 6'1" medium build with brown hair and blue eyes. they got the campus alert email about the attack but sai they are not fearful. >> i think this campus is really safe. you have to -- i feel like it's really safe. if you put yourself in the wrong situation that can happen. >> you try to be safe and keep your friends in the loop what is going on, people will look out for you. >> they had curfews and some
