9:17 pm
okay. back to the breaking news of that fire in san francisco's north beach neighborhood. we first told you about this at the top of the newscast and starting 7:30 near union and columbus streets near columbus park. and we are told that the homes upstairs are evacuate and severely damage and the good news is that nobody was hurt, and the half a dozen or so businesses have been affected. the exes tetent of the damage, don't know, but there is a growing response and debate growing about the response. we should point out that the supervisor erin peskin has called for the resignation saying it took too long to

respond, and the chief is saying it is not true, because it took six minutes. so we will have more on the news situation, and the growing debate coming up tonight on nbc 7 news at 11:00. >> and now, meteorologist nick tou touma. >> tomorrow is a much different forecast to finish off the weekend. live doppler is showing the scan around the region, and the showers have diminished like we have said, and the sun went down and lost the heating of the day and the fuel for the showers and they are out of here, and the snow has been across much of the see jere ya,nd a few of the snowshowers are around bear valley and that is it. and however, in the past 24 hours, we need a lot of fresh powder in squaw valley where there has been two or three feet of snow, and heavenly coming in with 17 inches in the past 24 hours, and the picture outside

with the exploration place is lit up in green for st. patrick's day, and across the region, that is going to the allow the temperatures to quick ly cool off and down to 39 in napa, and that current number in oakland and 49 in san jose and checking in with the current temperature of 50 degrees. the next call is over to the next 12 hours, give way to fog, and so right now, the best chance of finding the fog is the north bay and the east bay the night. and in oakland and san jose, dropping to 33 in napa though, and 33 is the low in san francisco. so we will plan your sunday and the 12-hour planner is to be areas of dense fog and the chilly spots start iing out in e 30s and a fair amount of sunshine and midday and the clouds will bubble up again tomorrow afternoon and by 4:00 w we will call it partly sunny out there, and it is going to be a dry day with temperatures in the 50s to near 60. so highs tomorrow in concord,
9:20 pm
near 59, and 67 in peaks of sunshine in san rafael, and 60 in san jose, and 67 is the high in palo alto, and it is a warmer day around here monday. if you check the temperatures it is going to be mild and sunny and close to 70 in the south bay. it is going to feel like a warm start to the school and work week, but by tuesday, the cooler air is going to move back in and knocked back down into the 50s as showers will move into the region and in fact, future weather is going to jump you into tuesday and what we are watching is a system moving in from south and the west, and bringing us showers here locally and right now, the heaviest of the rain is really moving towards southern california to los angeles and of course, watch the band of showers, because it could oscillate to the north more and that would give us heavier rain on tuesday and something that we would keep a track on. and so we are seeing fog in the morning sunday and partly cloudy sunday afternoon and a cold start monday afternoon but a

bright dry finish and showers arrive tuesday where the storms intensify iing a little bit wednesday and morning rain wednesday and thursday and dry out friday and saturday. and now, sports with mike shumann. >> and last night at oracle trying to right the ship against the sun, and steph, and klay and omar kas pi out and it showed early on. nick young, swaggy p draw iing e contact, and bank it in plus the foul. swaggy had 16 points plus the three there. and quinn cook is making the most of his opportunity draining the three, shend just getting started, but the warriors trailed at the half, and josh jackson is leading the way for the suns, and 52-60 at the break. draymond green throwing it back. and cook gets the second of the back-to-back there'ses and part of the 24-20 ws run.

and then jordan bell with the steal, and cook will take it the other way, and lay it in, and the warriors go on to win bishgs 124-109 that final. also in back-to-back games in the sharks in vancouver with evander cain with back-to-back nights with two goals. this guy does look like joe thornton and the sharks are down 1-0, but on the power play, joe pavel ski with a nice pass to kevin le banc and the easy tap-n and 1-1 game. and tomas hertl with the pass, and now, this is in for the 29th of the year, 2 and-1, sharks after one. and then timo meyer cutting to the middle, and the wrist ser the second of the game, and 20th of the season, and the sharks are up 4-3 in the third. cactus league action. and wearing green on st. paddy's day, and this is where there is
