the sonoma safe way where a 24-year-old woman was spotted walking alone just before 5:00 a.m. saturday. >> she had visible injuries on her face and neck. should she was walking without any shoes on and someone at safe way stopped and asked if she was okay. she said she wasn't, she was sexually assaulted and he took her into safe way to get her help. >> reporter: not much is released on the two men's description tz. she said they were speaking in a language she didn't understand. they picked her up hours earlier in front of bruno's san francisco mission district. the victim believed the car she was entering was the one she ordered on the ride sharing app. turned out it wasn't. >> it was an opportunity or people actually trolling around posing to be, you know, an uber or lyft driver. at closing time, if they can get someone -- trick somebody to get in their car. >> reporter: ridesharing customers we talked with say this is a reminder to take precautions. >> if they don't know my name

obviously they're not picking me up. >> i always look at the last few numbers or letters of the license plate and make sure i'm getting in the right car. >> reporter: the victim is missing her black boots, i.d. and cell phone. anyone with information is asked to call the sonoma county sheriff's department. ? sonoma, lilian kim, abc7 news. >> tonight's search crews in mendocino county located the last member of the family swept away in the eel river a week-and-a-half ago. the southern california family was heading home from a trip in oregon when their car was seen going into the flooded river near leg ette. search crews located the bodies of the parents and daughter. the body of their son was found late today. the chp is still investigating the cause of the crash. >> abc7 news was in save's chinatown where a homeless man was murdered mere an elementary school over the weekend. way found on joy street at 8:30

yesterday morning. appeared he had been beaten. he was living near the community center the past few weeks. >> cease and desist. that's the order tonight from the city of san francisco to scooter rental companies. as abc7 news reporter kate larson found out it is barely slowing down those companies who put scooters out on the streets just a month ago. >> reporter: while very popular, the late est in tech transportation has also proved to be a pain. >> three scooters, one of them was sort of blocking, blocking the sidewalk. >> reporter: scott lives on haight street and says he broke his toe when he tripped on an electric scooter in front of his house. >> i'm sorry. >> reporter: moved to tears because his injury has made it hard for him to take care of his sick wife, brother and dog the past ten days. >> and i can't look after her, you know, the people that i'm responsible for. >> reporter: today at city hall, two things happened in separate efforts to move scooters into their legal lane. the transportation and ld use

conditions. these vehicles ran into each other. a man tried to melt the hail with a garden hose. >> after the morning's downpour drivers were treated to a rainbow, it doesn't happen just after rain, hail, too. it appeared behind a sheet of hail. >> one person took advantage of the unusual weather for a little sledding down the street in oakland. >> we do not see that here. for more on the weather let's go do sandhya patel. strange day, sandhya. >> action packed no doubt about it. live doppler 7 has a quiet picture now. the radar returns gone, but as you take a look at the storm that came through, it produced thunderstorms. hail as we just saw there. even some snow shower over the hills. snow showers, as you take a look at this picture from santa clara you can see a double rainbow sent to me via twitter by one of my followers. here's another picture from oakland hills of the hail coating the ground. thank you for those photos. keep them coming as you take a look at live doppler 7, another system is quing up. it's on the way.

24-hour rainfall totals from this last storm. anywhere from about 5/100 of an inch to half an inch to most parts of bay area. the next storm is going to be different. i'll let you know how so, time line and how it ranks on the storm impact scale. >> thank you, sandhya. you can download the abc7 app. >> fire drove 23 people from their rooms at a motel in vallejo. firefighters contained it to one room at the vallejo motel, 7 lincoln road west. two people did suffer minor injuries this afternoon. arson investigators are looking for what sparked this fire. >> new at 11:00, tesla has hit the pause button on making model 3s which is already running behind in development. the production stoppage could only last about a week, but it has some people asking questions about the car company. abc7 news reporter katie marzullo has the story. >> i don't know if i'm going to love a model 3 and i won't know it until i sit behind the wheel.

>> reporter: tech analyst larry is a prospective model 3 owner. he paid his $1,000 deposit now the dealership is telling him he'd have to buy the car without test driving it. he got the puzzling news just as tesla announced a week long production pause. >> the only possible correlation is they basically want to sell every one that they build and they don't want any wasted by giving people test drives, i guess. >> reporter: it could be a deal breaker for him who is happily saving money on gas with his hybrid prius. a tesla spoke person told abc7 news the down time was planned. the statement goes on to say these periods are used to improve automation and systematically address bottlenecks in order to increase production rates. tesla added it's common during a production ramp up. not everyone agrees. >> they have had that ramp up period be very public and very painful. >> reporter: tim is a tech and auto reporter for the "wall street journal." >> i've talked to auto manufacturin experts and they would say this is not typical of how a traditional automaker would build cars.

absolutely beautiful sunset. just some lingering clouds around sunset and a few showers around the bay area, but not from this time perspective. hope it brightens your night as we look at live doppler 7. most areasresierra. we continue to see the snow coming down. chains have been required. now the snow just ended there. temperatures here in the bay area, they're dropping. numbers are anywhere from the 30s to the 50s. take a look at where they stand compared to 24 hours ag running 4 degrees cooler from san jose to oakland to novato. 8 degree drop in napa compared to this time yesterday. temperatures are going to recover. it's going to be a warmer day tomorrow. average high for san jose, 73 degrees. mid 60s. you will notice that even though it does cool off a little bit wednesday, those temperatures will recover quite a bit, getting up over the weekend into the upper 70s to low 80s in san jose. so, it's going to be a warm spring weekend. something you can look forward

to if you have outdoor plans. right now a live picture from our sutro tower camera and it is a beautiful view of downtown san francisco. clearing skies, rain returns late wednesday. we are looking at a much warmer end of the workweek. temperatures as you will notice will be in the low 30s to the mid 40s so the coldest inland valleys will be in the north bay and the east bailo indications where you might see someatchy frost. don't be surprised if you do. definitely need to make sure your kids have jackets and you have a jacket or sweater. afternoon highs upper 50s to the mid 60s. breezy, mainly sunny. and the storm impact scale comes in. it's a light level 1 system. wednesday night into early thursday we're going to be seeing scattered light showers a 10th to a quarter inch most areas. snow level will be coming down to 3500 feet. it is not going to be as cold as the system that came through today and produced the snow showers down to about 2000 feet. 6:00 wednesday night, you will notice the rain moving on shore. it's going to be across most of the bay area by 10:00 p.m. and then into the thursday morning

take-two-1 series lead as they head to san antonio for game three on thursday. mike shumann will make that flight as well and joins me live now. >> what a game it was. so, san antonio made some adjustments. warriors fought them off and then klay thompson just is out of his mind the last two games. 31 points, afterwards he talked about he's having a pretty good time. >> have fun, it is basketball so it's supposed to be a lot of fun which it is and play hard. no one can make contributions individually. it has to be done as a team. even then it's hard with the way he can shoot the ball. >> the ball is going in for him. we want him shooting the basketball any time. he's just, you know, he's just playing. he's not thinking too much. clay causes a lot of havoc for the opposing defense. >> we played to win. we weren't back on our heels. >> this is what you expect. this is what a game two feels
