with the snow pack at mount rose. right now its at 113- percent of normal. the question is if the snow pack will mean more water in the truckee river. summertime truckee river flows are actually dependent on water flowing out of lake tahoe. the water is currently about a foot and a quarter below the natural rim of the lake. for significant flows, the water needs to be a few feet above the rim -- something that is not likely to happen this year. "we've missed over a years worth of precipitation in the last four years, so to catch up all of that precipitation and all of that water in just one year, that is unlikely." butt with trt:13 "you are not sucking from a pressurized pipe at the bottom of a reservoir. you have a half a foot of water flowing over the natural rim by gravity down to the dam and on to the river. it just does not provide much flow." instead of filling up in a single season, its far more likely the lake will fill up over a few season. but overall, we're doing much better than we were last year. and now your kolo 8
