"anytime we have multiple crime scenes, an officer involved shooting and an accident, you have two separate crimes involved in one incident, so it's going to take a while to piece together what happened this evening. reno police say the

shooting were not harmed but will be placed on administrative leave while the investigation continues. the investigation will now be led by sparks police. two more people have been arrested in connection with the carson city shooting that left an 18-year-old man dead earlier this month. 20-year-old daniel lease of dayton is charged with accessory to the murder of grant watkins, and accessory to robbery. 19-year-old keenan blackmore of carson city, is charged with conspiracy to commit a crime, and accessory to a felony. a total of seven people have now been arrested in connection with watkins murder. this investigation started on january 11th near windridge drive and spooner drive. officials believe the shooting was the result of a drug transaction. the investigation is ongoing, and more arrests are likely. if you have any information call the carson city sheriff's office at 887-2014. police have identified 22-year-old sarah evans as the woman who was arrested sunday in connection with the stabbing at the 'star of

police say evans was found a short distance away from the motel after the incident. a woman was taken to the hospital after she was found with stab wounds in her back and stomach. no word on what led to the stabbing. with just 6 days to go until voters weigh in on the race for the next president, polls show the frontrunners of both parties in a competitive race in the first-up iowa caucuses. abc's bazi kanani has the latest from the campaign trail. pkg script: hitting harder as the clock ticks down to iowa. donald trump and ted cruz... accusing attacks. trump... on gma: "he's just saying lie after lie after lie. it's so not becoming, and he's got a problem." cruz... on the campaign trail. washington post poll shows 64 percent of republicans expect nomination. trump is leading in the polls nationally... but in iowa-- a statistical tie. ted cruz.... threatening to block trump's momentum. "donald trump has an opportunity to do something no gop candidate for president who isn't an incumbent has ever done, which is to win iowa and new hampshire.// if he wins iowa, he's on a roll, and i think the dominoes start to fall." on the democratic side-- a final face-off before the first caucuses. g-o-p- hopeful jeb bush is campaigning in elko today. the former florida governor is holding a rally at the northeastern nevada museum. it's open to the public, but you do need to r-s- v-p. we've set up a link at kolo tv dot com. just click on hot topics. ### it won't be long before those campaign signs start popping up around town... and maybe even in your neighbor's front yard. turns out, there's a real science behind them and they can have a big impact on a candidate's campaign. it's one of the oldest forms of political messaging around. colors like red, white and blue are typically used--however designers say some candidates use different colors to separate themselves from the pack. the signs are part of a larger picture for the candidate to solidify support-- but also to sway the undecided voter. one local professor says campaigns spend millions of dollars on visual presentation. the p-u-c will hold a hearing on the moratorium proposal on february 8th. mount rose ski resort is up for sale and officials say the future owner will have a lot of options when it comes to improvements on the mountain. rose's 95-year-old owner, fritz booze-er buser, is calling it quits after more than 40- years with the resort. he bought into mount rose in 1971, and has been the majority owner for several years. he says he is ready to sell because the resort has gone up so much in value in recent years due to upgrades on the property - but officials at the resort say there's still alot of improvements that can be made. "mr. buser is stepping away, but we would hope that we get to actually fulfill that dream and expand to add some terrain to the resort that we do not currently have, so we would love to see that vision fulfilled." there's currently no asking price for the resort but it's expected to be several million dollars. the sale would include a purchase of the all the lifts, equipment, and the land on the slide rose

place where you'd expect to have something like that police say two men came to this house in littleton, colorado sunday, after seeing the homeowner had listed several items for sale online - but, the homeowner telling police, instead of purchasing the items, one of the men took out a gun, tied him up and robbed him sot jacki kelley/ sheriff pio: they wanted the keys to his car that's when the homeowner managed to free himself... grabbing a handgun and shooting at the suspects as they drove away in separate vehicles - fatally wounding the driver who had stolen his car. the other driver, managing to escape this, just the latest in a growing number of craigslist-related deaths...advanced media group - estimating the website recently passed the 100-murder mark over the last 20 years last january- georgia grandparents bud and june runion were murdered after attempting to buy their dreamcar from someone they met on the site -- and last february - a college student was shot to death after answering an ad on the site for an inphone 6 abc news reached out to craigslist for comment, they have yet to respond. back in littleton - the d.a. has yet to decide if the homeowner will face charges

americans access to retirement savings. the president's ideas will be outlines in the 20-17 budget which he will submit to congress in february. among his ideas -- offering tax credits to small businesses that enroll employees in retirement plans; requiring companies to offer plans to part-time workers; and making it easier for companies to bring down expenses by participating in multiple employer plans. the plan would also allow americans to defer taxes on retirement savings. the u-s has taken another step to improve its relationship with cuba. the treasury department announced this morning it is doing away with more of its restrictions on cuba. starting tomorrow.. it will get rid of financing restrictions on most exports. the u-s will also allow more cuban commodities to be exported. and while americans still can only travel to cuba under 12-specific guidelines... they will now be allowed to do more while in the country. the changes come because of direct talks between the u-s and cuba... which began

jet-blue says it wants its planes to be more spacious, more modern, and more entertaining. the airline says it will be redesigning all 130 of its airbus a-320 airplanes. jet-blue plans to include in-seat power outlets -- turning each seat into a charging station. there will also be free wi-fi, which passengers will be able to use even before the plane reaches 10-thousand feet. jet-blue plans to start remodeling the a-320 planes in 2017 and finish by 2019. what's your credit score? to some... that three digit number can be more like a dirty word. if you want to make your score better ... be careful. scammers can not only steal your information... but may also turn you into a crook. mary moloney explains --reporter pkg-as when trying to make a financial decision for the future -- it's often financial decisions from you up.

buying a home -- lenders can see your decisions in a credit report. and some scammers see an opportunity. according to the federal trade commission -- there are a few easy ways to spot a credit repair scam. first -- if the company asks for payment before they render any services. also-- if they ask that you do not contact the credit reporting agencies directly. and if they suggest giving false information when applying for a mortgage or a loan. another troubling trend among credit repair scammers -- the promise of an entirely new credit identity -- which can unwittingly land a consumer in trouble with the law. you can spot these scams when a service suggests abandoning a social security number as a primary source of identification. and instead using a new number they assign and call a c-p-n -- for credit privacy number or credit profile number. in many cases -- these numbers are stolen social security numbers -- often from children -- which is why they have a clean credit slate. and that can turn a consumer into an unknowing identity thief -- despite their good

i'm mary moloney. two former disney employees have filed class-action lawsuits against the entertainment giant, saying they were illegally replaced by foreign workers. the former employees worked i-t jobs at walt disney world in orlando before being laid off last year. the two say they were given 90-days to train their foreign replacements. in their suit, the two allege if they didn't train their replacements, they would not have received bonuses or severance. some 300 other workers also lost their jobs. sprint has cut 25- hundred jobs at six customer service centers and its kansas city area headquarters as part of its plan to cut 2 and-a-half billion dollars in costs. the country's number 4 wireless service provider said its subscribers are increasingly using the sprint zone app and are going online for customer care needs - a trend that has led to the job cuts. shares of the company are down more than 39 percent in the past year, after losing more than
