that the shooting actually happened on east fourth street, near sage street. the man was taken to the hospital with non- life threatening injuries. sad news to report this morning. police say they found the body of 68-year-old richard bleak-ney of sparks in pyramid lake after a 10-hour search yesterday. this is a picture of the washoe county sheriff's hasty team, performing a deep water dive. bleak-ney was reported missing in october after falling from a fishing boat. scary moments for a man at the sparks marina after his boat capsized rescue. yesterday afternoon. the man was sailing in the marina when his boat flipped. he was able to climb on and wait for emergency responders. the man was eventually rescued fortunately, he was not injured. turning now to that armed robbery at u-n-r that was reported wednesday afternoon. university police now say the armed robbery was actually a false report. the woman who reported it may now face charges for giving false information to police. she originally claimed

gun point between lawlor events center, parking garage. and in elko, the city council voted to extend marijuana establishments until according to the elko daily free press, the city council voted four year moratorium on medical marijuana business licenses. according to reports, council members wanted to continue the ban because marijuana is still illegal at the federal level. one councilman who voted against extending the ban said banning those businesses would deprive the city of an opportunity for revenue, and deny people a needed service. a hearing for evidence in an infant death case will be heard in douglas county today, but a judge in the case banned the media and the public from witnessing the hearing. 24-year-old trent getty is accused of killing his 2-month old daughter in january of last year. washoe county's coroner testified the baby's death was due to blunt force trauma to the head, but getty claims his daughter fell out of her swing, while he was alseep.

the evelyn mount northeast community center pool is currently closed due to a sagging roof. officials say... to repair the roof it is going to cost between four to five hundred thousand dollars. "hope to have the roof and the structure all completely done by september." of this year? because of their ties to local gangs. there is a 200-thousand dollar reward for information leading to their arrest. mg abc news ny- president obama will make his latest push to advance equal pay for women today the white house announced he's proposing a new rule that will require companies to report pay data by gender, race and ethnicity. the rule would apply to companies that have 100 or more employees. it would require employers to include salary information on a form already submitted to the equal employment opportunity commission that currently includes sex and age of workers. the administration said the rule would help aid investigations on employers that are "unlawfully shortchanging workers" based on gender, race and ethnicity. mister obama is set to officially announce the proposed rule at an event marking the seventh anniversary of the lilly ledbetter fair pay act. that's the first piece of legislation he signed as president. the act loosened the statute of limitations under which workers
