>> we set out to just make a funny film that would hopefully relate to people. a couple of folks have said that they felt the film unlocked some new form of communication, that they were able to talk to their kids for the first time and that was beyond anything i couch imagined. george: is it going to be another three or four years before we see you again? because all your films take a long time to make. >> yeah, i would love if it was less than that. but "toy story" was four and a half. most of them were pretty long. hunker down and do a lot of work. george: where's the first place this will go in your home? >> first, i'm going to takist it back to work and share it with all the amazing people who made the film. this is the second one i've been lucky enough to win. it makes writing my inheritance quite a bit easier.

george: on and off. pete detective -- docter joining us live. there's a lot going on here. what's going on elsewhere? >> we are live at the elton john aids foundation oscar party. elton john is known for being a legendary musician but also for his fashion creativity and we're seeing plenty of that here tonight. oscar night is known for fashion. what makes for a great outfit? >> i think the woman in the dress. i think if you're having a good night and you feel confident then you are beautiful and that's what makes the dress. >> you look gorgeous. >> you're very kind. thank you. >> what are you wear something >> the wonderful dennis faso. >> i had a stylist bring over a bunch of dresses and this one was something unusual, a little bit more structured and i was

it's like -- we like you, rhonda, but you're not a cappa. that's how hollywood is. but things are changing. things are changing. yeah, we got a black rocky this year. some people call it "creed," i call it black rocky. and that's a big -- that's an unbelievable statement, i mean, because rocky takes place in a world where white athletes are as good as black athletes. rocky's a science fiction movie. there are things that happened in "star wars" that are more believable than things that happened in "rocky." we're here to honor actors. we're here to honor film. and there's a lot of snubs. a lot of snubs. one of the biggest snubs no one's talking about, my favorite actor in the world is paul

i believe he's the greatest actor in the world. think about what he's done. last year, he's in "12 years a slave," hates black people. this year, he's in "straight outta compton," loves black people. last year, he's whooping lupita, this year, he's crying and easy-e's funeral. that's range. ben affleck can't do that. but what i'm trying to say is, you know, it's not about boycotting anything, it's just, we want opportunity. we want the black actors to get the same opportunities as white actors. that's it. that's it. you know? just -- you know, not just once, you know? leo gets a great part every year. and, you know, and -- everybody -- all you guys get great parts all the time. but what about the black actors?
