sad news to report this morning.. placer county deputies say they found the body of missing ski instructor, 23-year-old carson may yesterday. a search and rescue team found his body during a trainning session, near sugar bowl. may was reported missing at the ski resort on january 15th. crews searched the area for four days... but could not find him. yesterday... a crew went back to the area where may's cell phone was last pinged... and found the ski instructor, under five feet of snow. scary moments for passengers on an allegiant flight from mesa, arizona to bellingham, washington. according to the elko daily free press.... the plane was forced to land in elko yesterday afternoon because of an electrical odor inside the plane. a spokesperson for the airline says the plane landed safetly and there were no injuries. no word yet on what triggered that electrical smell. governor brian sandoval will join officials from the nevada governor's office of energy for a ribbon cutting ceremony today to celebrate nevada's first

everyone i spoke to was all for them... but some think the wording is "when they first went up, i actually had to read them twice because the "not a gun free zone"...you kind of have to read that. i wish i was a little more clear." i asked locals why they thought the signs were necessary...since they say crime in the town is practically non- most said it's just an extra layer of "there's a place...a right place be used and we should have from criminals...and hopefully these kind of signs deter crime in the long run." residents say the town's overall stance on gun rights has drawn more people to live in the town, rather than scaring people off. as for the cost, a city council member said the signs were paid for through private donations, so it did not cost the city any money. a google self driving car has been in the first accident in which the car was at fault. according to the california d-m-v, on

testing on the streets of mountain view, california when it struck a bus. the google car was looking to move into the left lane to avoid sand bags placed in the right lane. the car anticipated an approaching bus would slow down, but it did not. there were no injuries, just some damage to the google car's fender and some sensors. nasa is investing in the potential revival of supersonic jet travel. the space agency has granted a 20-million dollar contract to lockheed martin to develop a passenger jet that can fly faster than the speed of sound. nasa says the plan is intended to make flying safer, greener and quieter. this shows a preliminary design. supersonic commercial jet travel ended more than a decade ago with the grounding of concorde planes ... which were high maintenance and required a lot of fuel and special parts. espn reporter and dancing with the stars host...erin andrews
