right now at 6:00, from coast to coast, supporters of hillary clinton continue to protest donald trump's victory. >> large gathering angeles -- los angeles, chicago, and new york. ened here in the valley. >> people are marching right now in downtown phoenix. and lauren is live with them. >> reporter: actual relocated -- actually we relocated toad cam -- to the campus on tempe. this is mainly a group of students organizing now. in just a few minute, they tell

avenue. and like in many of the protests we have seen around the country, this group is protesting, they say, racism and hate against minorities and women. the organizer tells me that they know and accept the fact that trump has been elected president, but they say he does not represent their viewpoints as voters. and as you said, this is the fourth night of protests here in the valley. and you reference that earlier downtown. that was a of about 200-300 people who marched around the downtown area ending in the arizona state capital. lauren, thank you. trump has been fairly silent since the election. 60 minutes was able to get first 1 on 1 interview with the president elect. here's a preview of his interview with leslie stall. >> hillary called you. tell us about at this phone call. >> so hillary called and it was

>> reporter: around 10:00 friday night, police say david lee fuller, kidnapped 8-year- old jasmine campbell and her 3- year-old sister from their home. fuller is jasmines father but has no relation to his younger sister police say he may have been armed at the time. and authorities were worried he might leave arizona. nearly 12 hours later the amber alert was canceled. when police found them with fuller in tempe. they are n mother and he faces kidnapping charges. and today was a little bit warmer than yesterday. 84 was our high. 77 is where we should be for this time of year. we're going to get our numbers back to that as we head throughout this week. 79 degrees outside right now under fair skies. got 45 in flag staff. 63 in sedon, a. 75 for bull head city. things are dry. a few high clouds going to be moving through.

with post-traumatic vase. >> visited a new treatment center in texas which is only available to veterans and first responders. >> outside warriors hard ranch, 20 cut outs of sale, hold the story of veterans that committed suicide. >> it's the part of war you bring home. >> reporter: her 25-year-old son committed suicide in 2009 after two deployments to enemy. post-traumatic stress disorder and alcoholism. >> it's a hell you don't wake up from. >> still fighting her own pay, she's now clinical director at warrior's heart. it's a private treatment facility for ptsd. traumatic brain injury, drug and alcohol addiction. it's the first ever to only treat veterans, law enforcement, and first responders. >> we treat everything at once. we stabilize the addiction

that is the truth. and then we start to untie the knot of their entire life. >> treatment here runs 28-90 days. patients go through 4 individual sessions a week and three hours of group therapy a day. on the 500-acre property, fitness and spiritualty are also part of the treatment. >> it's just you and your own personal darkness. >> william was the navy medic in iraq. he returned home with ptsd and turned after experiencing suicidal thoughts, he reached out to dozens of facilities before he found found warrior's heart. >> when you go into these groups, that's like a war. each person is fighting their own personal war right then and there. >> therapy dogs help him to get back on his feet and he's paying it forward. he now works with the k. 9 program training dogs to help other veterans. don champion. texas.

some dash cam video of a police involved shooting in new jersey has been released to the public this weekend. the incident in camden shows edmond brown being pulled over. the police officer can be heard asking brown to shut his car off. he attempted to drive away, smashed into other cars and tried running away. during a struggling he was reportedly shot in the leg. the officer is on administrative leaf whale they investigate. in other news around the nation tonight, it is november. but wildfires continue to burn through parts of north carolina. state officials suspect arson is the cause of at least 20 of the fires. some of which have shut down state parks. 5000 firefighters are working to contain these flames this weekend. alabama, georgia, and tennessee

most visited park in the country. more than 5.5 million people visited the canyon last year alone. the number one spot, went to the great smoky mountains national park in north carolina and tennessee. if you were hoping to hit the slopes for snowballs opening's weekend, you're going to have to wait a little long per. the arizona ski resort planned to open yesterday but is delaying that because of nightly temperatures above freezing in flag staff. they hope to be open for business on november 18th. and i hope they can do that. >> i really, really do. because, they have had 0 snowfall. absolutely none. and nothing expected over this next week. this is what it typically looks like up there on the mountain. tomorrow, sunshine and 60 degrees. and they had last night, their temperatures at freezing mark
