struck near christchurch in new zealand. it happened around midnight. the government says the quake was felt throughout the country. sad news this morning... a valley mother is hit and killed.. while out walking with her children. and we now know the driver.. had a suspended license. it happened yesterday in chandler.. near ray road and college avenue. police say the 39-year-old driver was headed westbound.. when he hit the 35-year-old mother and her two young children... one in a stroller.. the other riding his bike. both children.. ages two and three.. are in the hospital in critical condition. chandler police say the family was in a crosswalk.. and had the right-of-way to
