a chandler family who is grieving the loss of a young mother who was hit and killed last week.. has some good news to share. according to the go-fund-me page for the family of "pamela hesselbacher".. . her 3-year-old son "ryan" is now out of the hospital.. and back home. "hesselbacher" and her two kids were hit by an accused red-light-runner a week ago.. as the family was walking in a crosswalk.. at ray and co "crossing the street when they were suppose to cross the street and something like this, unfortunate happening, it makes it that tough and its just one of those things that affects me personally." "hesselbacher's" one-year-old daughter "audrey" is in a coma at a valley hospital. the father of an american soldier recently killed in afghanistan... says he was "booed" by passengers on a plane... right here in phoenix. it happened when the flight

family and friends gathered last night.. to remember a man hit and killed.. while riding his bike. "dale wensel" was killed last year.. after he was hit by a car.. near 43rd avenue and bethany home road. police say he was in the crosswalk at the time.. but the driver ignored the red light.. and hit him. that driver then took off. "wensel's" family says they're not losing hope.. that police will find the person responsible. "we're hopin w memory .. or maybe they told somebody what he did .. we're hoping to catch this person so we can have closure to this." the only thing the cops have left from that night are these photos. they believe this white ford van is responsible. if you have any information .. call glendale police or silent witness. call glendale police or silent witness. today... more than 15- hundred people will gather for a "community rememberence" event.

share memories of their loved ones. the event begins at six tonight... at "steele indian school park".. and is free to the public. backing the badge.. that's what folks in fountain hills did yesterday.. as they dyed their iconic fountain blue. it is to honor the men and women who serve on the police force. it was put together by four people.. who hope to spark conversation about police officers. they wanted to dedicate an entire day to honoring it's the first time the fountain has ever been colored blue. it was just last month that phoenix welcomed a new police chief.. and the same can now be said about glendale. "glendale city manager kevin phelps" has appointed "rick st. john".. to be glendale's chief of police. he had been serving as interim police chief since july. somehow overlooked the three-year-old. she was later found by the towing company.. which took the s-u-v to a junkyard. "the supervisor on the scene actually has done a walkaround the vehicle, looking inside, saw the car seat, the two back doors were not accessible, so he went to the passenger side door, it was open, so he reached inside and go hold of the car seat, there was no one in there. and there wasn't.." the girl was thrown to the jeep's floorboard... during the crash. "two adults were taken into custody and are currently being interviewed. and, the infant, baby sofia gonzalez, was recovered alive and is healthy ." a newborn who went missing after her mother was found murdered in their kansas home... has been found safe. baby sofia...

old....was found in a home in dallas. police took two people into custody....and say they knew the family.. but the motive is unclear. a big day for the catholic church.. pope francis has appointed 17 new cardinals. many of them have a background in humanitarian work. the cardinals come from all over... like bangladesh and the central african republic. a church in milwaukee is giving back to its parish.. with gas. the "kingdom fellowship church" held a gas giveaway at a local gas station.. where some people waited almost two-hours for free gas. the pastor said the giveaway allowed them to spread some good.. when the country seems so filled with hate. let it snow! at least.. everywhere but here! this is what folks in minnesota woke up to. so much white.. you can barely see... which is causing
