macy's. >> they were all camped out since yesterday or the day before. let's talk a little bit about weather. we are going to double team it today with a little bit of weather and traffic for you. lawrence is sleeping in today. so here's a look at our hi-def doppler. you may need an umbrella at least in these early-morning hours. you can see we actually have some very light scattered showers out there mostly confined to the north bay right now. this is just light stuff. it should be passing through by about mid-morning and then we are drying out and temperatures are actually going up by a bit. you may have a little bit of valley fog but we'll talk more about that in a little bit. in the meantime, on the roads, we may see damp roads especially traveling in san francisco, oakland and once again in the north bay just some very light sprinkles but overall, we are not seeing too many problems on the roads and no delay so far at the bay bridge. hey, but bart is running longer trains if you are planning on doing a little downtown shopping in san francisco. >> why don't you read the news, too. >> okay. >> let's do it all.

this is all happening because of black friday. an employee of wal-mart says they have been open since 6:00 yesterday and that the big sales began at 10:00 last night and also at midnight. so you can probably tell that there was probably a continuous crowd here throughout the morning. but, of course, we talked to some shoppers who were turned away at the door because wal- mart is closed until further notice but they thought about this shooting. >> it just doesn't make any sense. everybody should be getting along. >> reporter: even though the doors are open, walmart is closed until further notice. a worker says they have been instructed to clean up the store and reopen at 6:00 this morning. the shoppers were probably in there before the shooting

happened. they are letting them shop and leave but no new customers at this time. we'll have more details as they unfold. trying to get a proximity of where the shooting happened. it was out in the parking lot away from where people were camping or parking and shopping? >> reporter: the store was open so people have been coming in and out of the parking lot but it happened beyond this stop sign in the parking lot. it looks like it was quite a distance from the shop. i think the victim was probably headed back to his car. it turns out that the victim was with a group of friends and that group held down someone who was a member of the suspect's group. they don't know if who they have in custody is the shooter but the friend of the victim did detain someone until cops arrived. >> thank you, gil diaz live in san leandro. the shopping frenzy led to injuries at another walmart
