from her morgan hill home. her family says the 15 year- old does not have a history of running away. she was last seen last friday morning as she left her home and headed towards her school bus stop. the santa clara sheriff's safe task force is contacting all of the registered sex offenders in the area as a precaution. meanwhile, the family is trying to remain optimistic. >> me and my sister are really close. so it is definitely hard. each day gets harder and seems more real >> sierra it recently moved from the fremont area and investigators are interviewing students a high-school she attended in fremont as well as that one in morgan hill.

mild because of the cloud cover. yesterday we were down in the 30's but not today. we do have a system sliding in but not the best chance of any rainfall. we still could see a chance of a few light showers. mid-60's towards the south bay where you see a little bit more sunshine. towards the next couple of days, a slight chance of a few showers to the north and a better chance of rain for the bay area come thursday. this next weekend looks a little bit wet in the bay area. >> it is actually pretty quiet out there, no major accidents or stalls and a lot of overnight road work is already in the clearing stage. you will find roadwork between high street and crude vail, scheduled to wrap up in the next 20 minutes. no brake lights that all across

>> the unarmed, glitzy, at the fbi and u.s. attorneys will help investigate the killing of a black teenager in florida. the 17 year-old was shot to death by a neighborhood watch captain george zimmerman in a gated community last month. the man called police and said that he was acting strangely. they advised him not to follow him but he did anyway and confronted the unarmed martin as she walked home from a convenience store. the 911 tape the been released >> it looks like he is up to no good war on drugs or something >> are you calling him? >> yes >> we don't need you to do that >> ok >> but soon, police got a call about a fight and a single gunshot that killed martin. college students across florida are demanding that zimmerman be arrested.

>> 8 suspected tornado in texas caught on tape. this was outside of san antonio. the sheriff's office says there were some injuries but it is not clear how many. one woman says with storm ripped roofs off of her house and another neighbor said she saw three funnel clouds in rapid succession. a little bit different here. >> we don't have too many tornadoes to worry about. today there are clouds moving across the sky and there is a slight chance we could see some sprinkles. plenty of clouds to start out today. by the afternoon we will see a mixture of sunshine and a few clouds. temperature will be cool especially in the north bay. mid-60's as we work to the south bay. usually this is not the best

scenario for rainfall and it looks dry but we could get a couple of sprinkles. a mixture of sunshine and clouds today. will probably see a chance again tomorrow but that will stay to the north. temperatures are not bad. about 60 degrees in fremont. east bay temperatures into the 50s and 60s with a few clouds in a mixture of sunshine. anything that falls will be extremely light. a couple of raindrops in the forecast today and maybe a couple for tomorrow but the temperatures will be warming up. another chance of a few showers as we head towards thursday. the next weekend looks like a better chance of rain for the bay area. today is the first day of spring and we're already talking about rainfall that continues during the week. >> that is not as bad as snow.
