concerts' are heard each day at noon at the college following the shootings that terrorized the campus on april 2nd. the school will hold a memorial service at 10:00 this morning to honor the people were killed. three other shooting victim survived. the alleged gunman 43 year-old one go faces seven counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. there's also a special circumstance allegation that could make him eligible for the death penalty. he has not entered a plea. on friday a, police found what they believed to be done. it was pulled from the waterway. forensic testing will be done to see whether it was the actual weapon used in the shooting. there are concerns about two of the victims from india, they are

trying to raise the money for funeral expenses. let tibetan society of northern california is working on this because they have large families in india and are making arrangements to get the mall here. >> new this morning, crews are cleaning up after a fire in a san lorenzo strip mall along the 18,000 block of hesperian boulevard. the flames began on the roof of a cash for gold shop. the cause of the fire is believed to be electrical. the man accused of killing three people in san francisco will continue testimony in his murder trial today. he told the jury that he was driving the car but did nonparticipation in the murders. he says a fellow gang member yelled when he thought he recognized members of a rival gang and then fired through the driver's side window. >> we would strongly disagree

to phil astin on how the weather will be >> we're still waiting for the rain. we can see it on doppler radar so you may hit the rain if you are about to head out the door right now. the rain line is slowly starting to move into the bay area. also some pretty breezy conditions especially along the bay. you can see rain pushing in towards berkeley and the oakland hills so we don't think this will be a washout but it is the first of several bands of rain to move across the area today and really over the course of the workweek looks like you'll need your umbrella through friday. we're watching another low pressure system even further west that will hit us thursday and friday. i hope you enjoyed the dry weather while it lasted because

spring the students. a berkeley man is the first successful person prosecuted in connection with the occupied oakland protest. a jury found joseph hoover guilty of misdemeanor. yesterday's a judge sentenced him to six days in the county jail and two years' probation. he took part in a demonstration past january when protesters tried to take over a convention center. oakland police are investigating a shooting along one part of macarthur freeway. a woman was shot in the back yesterday afternoon near a gas station on seminary boulevard. the bullets blew out the back window. the driver tried to speed away and ended up on the edwards off ramp of the freeway. a suspect has not been named. pulls the police say the two suspects named in friday's deadly shooting spree have confessed. court documents reveal that he

shot three people and alan watts admitted to two of the shootings. authorities are investigating whether this was a hate crime. all the victims were black. the suspects are expected to be charged with first-degree murder. will not be sent to a grand jury, eliminating the possibility of a first-degree murder charge. george zimmerman says he shot trayvon martin in february in self-defense. he was never arrested, prompting protests around the country. zimmermann now has a web site allowing him to tell his side of the story and ask for donations. his lawyers confirmed the real george zimmerman dot com is legitimate. statements on this side do not reveal details on the shooting but portray him as a man he has been forced to leave his home

quite a bit cooler out the door right now and this afternoon we are not warming up by much. upper fifties to low 60s across the bay area. off and on rain is the name of the game. we're watching the low pressure system that is continuing today and tomorrow and over the course of the workweek. we have this low pressure system and another one bringing more rain thursday and friday. it is actually not as much rain as we initially thought yesterday's so it looks like a cross most of the bay area may be a half-inch and some of the heavy response but overall, not too much. temperatures later this afternoon, we will not see much sunshine today. 59 in san rafael, 60 degrees out in the fairfield area so here is your forecast over the next several days. it will be a wet week across
