>> another warning for parents and students in concord, a seventh grade girls as a master to get in his hand as she walked to school yesterday morning. she said that she said no and then called a parent from a safe location. at least one person is dead after a strong earthquake in chile. a 6.7 earthquake struck last night around 9:00 centered 30 mi. northeast of valparaiso. the victim apparently died of heart attack during the earthquake. >> this is the moment the earthquake was felt. cnn was on the air and remain calm throughout. there are no immediate reports of any damage or injury but some power has been knocked out. an 8.8 magnitude earthquake killed more than 500 people a few years ago. only four survivors of the 1906

bay area earthquake are still alive today. three of them are expected to take part in an annual survivors dinner. the quake destroyed buildings and killed hundreds of people from santa rosa and san francisco is 432 now, oracle vs. google entering round 2 in federal court this morning. she joins us with the very latest >> it is a silicon showdown that will happen here in just a few hours with two big technology titans in each corner. we have larry ellison from oracle, larry page from google, back-and-forth going one-on-one with each other but this case could have serious implications for the entire silicon valley.

pressure will hold most of the systems to the north so the rain will stay north of the bay area. the weather is looking good as temperatures will be up nicely in the south bay today. cooler at the coast line, 60 in half moon bay. east bay temperatures in the '60s with low 70's by the afternoon. inside the day he will see that seabury's with patchy fog. as we look out over the next couple of days we will watch as temperatures march up the scale a little bit tomorrow but thursday we will probably push 80 degrees on thursday afternoon. maybe the mid-80s on friday and saturday, just a little bit cooler in the latter part of the weekend. >> we do not, we have no hot spots right now, no major accidents is the good news but if you're hitting the road right

now, the eastbound lanes of highway 4 are all shut down until about 530 this morning so the westbound ride is not impacted in so far we do not see any major delays. the eastbound lanes are closed for another hour or so. we have the dole drive closure starting this morning. we have one northbound lane of the oil drive shut down at and that is a precursor to the big fool freeway closures coming up next friday, april 27th. in the meantime, let's go to the east bay through oakland. as you pass the coliseum, so far is a nice move right. if your continuing towards the macarthur maze, a nice smooth ride. traveling to fremont or

the boat crashed after running into big waves near the fair lawn island on saturday. three people survived and the coast guard recovered the body of one person. the other four are missing and presumed dead. one of the victims, alexa bush is the daughter of a former executive with the san francisco giants. >> it is a shock and the giant'' family are in shock >> more recently bush played in a semipro women's baseball league. >> there is a $5,000 reward to help catch the man who kidnapped and assaulted a woman in oakland around 3:00 sunday morning. the 34 role of victim was forced into a car as she walked on lakeshore avenue. the man drove to the area of highland hospital and sexually assaulted her before pushing her out of that car. police in oakland are

investigating a shooting that killed one man and injured a second. a suspect reportedly fired who was wounded and crashed a car into a pole and that person is now in stable condition at a hospital. a man suspected of killing 77 people in norway is testifying today in his own trial. he defended his bombing and shooting rampage calling it the most spectacular attack by a nationalist militants since world war two. it included an explosion at the oslo government district and that match shooting at a labor party youth camp nearby >> the secret service says its strict top security clearance from 11 agents accused of misconduct. allegedly hired prostitutes while in colombia preparing for the president's visit this past weekend. at least 10 members of the

completely shut down until 530 this morning. it looks like the westbound lanes of highway 4 are still moving at top speeds. top speed in the south bay up and down 101 and 280. we still have some road work coming in to san jose according to caltrans is only scheduled until 5:00 this morning so there are likely wrapping that up right now. on the nimitz, still a nice smooth ride. for a while the high street off ramp was closed and they should be reopening that very shortly. if your continuing southbound, here is what it looks like on 880 and the 237 interchange. mass-transit is off to a great
