bit of a warming trend >> it is a little heat wave, in the '80s by the end of the week. where in the middle of a warming trend so today will be a little bit warmer than yesterday. out the door right now, we see some low clouds and fog across the coast and the bay. in the meantime, temperatures are not too bad. definitely on the mild side for these very early morning temperatures. it is because of a high- pressure ridge continuing to build over the next several days. they're seeing showers in far northern california but in the bay area you can expect low 80s especially in some of the inland spots as early as this afternoon.
