>> we have to leave things behind, it is beginning again. we should not stay sad. from that we need to go forward. in oakland, cbs 5. a man who suffered an electric shock when he tried to move a downed power line has died from his injuries. the victim was driving his pickup truck in san mateo around 6:30 p.m. when he saw the line on north fault streak. he got out of the truck and was electrocuted as he tried to move the line. it was pronounced dead at stanford medical center. the tragedy ones about the dangers of touching down power lines. >> if a customer sees a downed line, the best thing to do is stay away and keep others away and call 9 1 1 or pg&e's so that we can get out as quickly as possible to make the scene safe. >> reports that a metallic balloons have been responsible have not been confirmed. more than 3000 customers lost

power and crews restored power to those homes by 10:45 a.m.. a sad discover for search crews looking for a missing teenager from santa rosa. they found the body of the 15 year-old in a state park yesterday. it appears that she committed suicide. she left home one week ago after writing in her journal about a romantic rejection. police say that she searched for the route to the park and hour before leaving and that is what led researchers to her body. search crews in the south they have nothing new to report in the search for sierra lamar. the santa to the santa clara county terrace apartment letter refine search today. searchers previously combed the same area on your bikes. she was last seen more than one month ago getting ready for school. and it was one week ago today that a tragic yachting accident took the lives of five crew members.

fransisco, i saw tank tops and shorts. that is pretty rare? >> baker beach was packed. a gorgeous day all over the area. temperatures well above average. between 15 and 19 degrees above average. 90s and a lot of spots. these are current temperatures out the door. concord still coming in in the upper eighties. 88 degrees in concord, livermore, san fransisco now and the low seventies. mid 80s in santa rosa. tonight we will cool things down but it will still be on the mild side for the overnight temperatures. mainly in the '50s. if you upper '40's. areas of patchy fog along the coast. we will warm things up again tomorrow. not as warm as today. no ninety's. mainly in the low '80s in some of the inland spots. otherwise seventies across the coast and day. but still a very nice sunday because high-pressure is still intact so there's no rain in

immediate forecast. things could change in the middle of next week. and in the meantime here's your can point forecast. as you can see a lot of fifties. 54 in fremont, mid 50's and livermore. 51 degrees in santa rosa. and tomorrow we're still seeing orange and yellow. you can see on this color-coded guide. which means that we will see a lot of eighties, 81 in places like, heard and livermore. otherwise, low to mid '70's. so for your son they mostly sunny skies. and then we will start to see an even more dramatic drop in its mature for the start of the work week. only reaching the low seventies in the warmest spots. tuesday, wednesday, a similar story with seasonal temperatures. then wednesday night into thursday we have a pretty good chance of rain. a 60 percent chance at this point. it will not last long and and we dry out and warm up on the back end of the next weekend. that is a check of weather.
