they drove him around until they finally dropped him off in oakland. the license plate is eight z 27362, in california plate. if you see it your urge to give the police to call. a crash this morning involving a transit bus and a car on west grant and telegraph avenue in oakland. 12 people were on board, nobody seriously injured. the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. >> an autopsy is scheduled today on a body found in the ocean in sonoma county. the remains were recovered on wednesday one day earlier. officials say it is too early to know if the body is one of the missing crew mates from a yacht capsized. four members of that crew had

been missing since april 14th. the coast guard has temporarily suspended boat races in the bay area in the wake of two accidents this month. first, a wave crashed into a yacht injuring two crew members and on april 14th a rogue wave swallowed a boat killing five. even sailing enthusiast admit action by the coast guard makes sense. >> when you have an incident of this magnitude you really need to stop and ask if anything needs to be changed >> the coast guard says the order is a temporary stand down. it will affect two contests, tomorrow and may 12th. >> heading into san francisco on the golden gate bridge this weekend is probably not a great idea unless you enjoy sitting in all lot of traffic. tonight at 8:00 the big shutdown begins on doyle drive.

>> federal officials say that a cow that had mad cow disease has been euthanize. the department of agriculture said last night the cow had become a lame and started lying down. this is the fourth case ever of mad cow disease in the u.s. and the first since 2006. officials say the cowed develop the disease from a random mutation and not from tainted feet. a medical problem led crews to quarantine a delta flight in chicago yesterday. it was thought that woman traveling from gonna have some kind of rash or disease but it was a false alarm. it turns out the woman had a bug bites. passengers were allowed off the plane three hours later >> tide detergent may do a little bit more than clean your clothing. it might expose you to cancer

over the weekend which means the storm door is closing. we will see plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures around the bay area. >> 68 degrees in fremont. east bay temperatures mainly in the 60s and low 70's. inside the bay, a bit of a sea breeze. 64 degrees in mill valley. the next couple of days we will cranked those temperatures up. '70s and '80s will start show up around much of the interior valleys. cooler temperatures as we head in towards the middle of next week. >> if you are headed out the door in the next few minutes we have a couple of wind advisories

to report. chp issued this a little while ago so use caution as you work your way across the span eight between foster city and a word but so far no delays. elsewhere we do have a wind advisory for the bay bridge. traffic is still very quiet and if you're headed to the bay bridge, not a bad ride at all. once you hit the eight gates at the bay bridge. the wind advisory is still in effect. no delays out of san francisco into oakland. so far so good at oakland and marin county and of course we will be talking a lot about the closure of doyle drive. keep in mind there are alternates you can use in the meantime when the closure gets under way. the richmond center fell bridge, the bay bridge, or the ferries are your best bets.

everything is moving up to speed as you work your way through their and mass-transit is always a good choice as you work your way out and about. >> it was a foul ball foul up that has made headlines. a couple celebrates catching a foul ball at a ranger's game and the toddler next to them just parts and wailing. the parents of the toddler had no idea his disappointment was playing out on national tv. they say it was not as bad as it looked and he eventually calmed down. >> we actually feel bad for them because of all the bad press. >> i was crying and stuff >> the couple in the stands next to them say they never even saw the pablo crying.
