changes nothing. vladimir duthier has the story. >> phone call from ferguson's police chief according to neil brvment brufntrager. >> suggesting there will be some targets at the time ferguson police department. and the moment he heard that, he also indicated he thought his resignation would help alleviate some of those threats. >> when you say targets what do you mean? >> we don't know much more than that. they had some intel that said there was some of violent nature. >> wilson referred the that unknown threat. it is my hope to continue in police work but the safety of police officers and the community is of paramount importance to me. overnight, news of the resignation did little to quiet the smaller but still vocal group of protesters outside the ferguson police department. >> when you take somebody's life

bartholomew, the pope said i.s.i.s. was committing a profoundly grave sin against god. against military action against i.s.i.s. but said it must be accompanied by humanitarian aid. poverty he said can give rise to criminal activity and even the recruitment of terrorists. between them francis and bartholomew lead more than 1.5 billion christians. using their combined moral weight to deepen their commitment to what francis said suffering communities in the middle east including christians. their call for christians to work together for peace and the dignity of every person. in a press conference on his plane, francis said he told the turkish president that it would be good if all leaders condemned violence as being against the

throat. elonis said he wasn't being truthful. now the supreme court which tail its first look at the limits of free speech on social media and decide whether such posts are constitutionally protected, or rise to a true threat which is illegal. the court has never given a clear answer as to what constitutes a true threat. in 1969 it was in favor of a war protestor, and in 2003, the court ruled that cross-burning is not in itself a true threat saying malicious intent has to be proven in order to make it a crime. john elwood is the attorney representing elonis. >> if you know the person you're going to be talking about is placed if fear at that point it becomes criminal. the key is whether he knew they

with cruelty to children and false imprisonment. gene also faces a charge of obstructing an officer. julie pisar rvetiono, lives across the street from the family. >> there was no evidence of the stress. he didn't seem like he was reaching out to help me. >> but that 13-year-old boy had been reported missing by his mother in florida in 2010. on saturday his mother saw him again for the first time in four years. she had told child welfare officials the boy hadn't returned after visiting his father but she didn't tell police and it's not clear why. on friday, officers were called to the father's home in jones bro, south of atlanta, to look for the boy. gene denied he was there but police came back a second time. the child sent a text message to his mother who guided police to a false wall, hiding a
