york city officers were sitting in when a man walked up and shot them execution style. >> they were quite simply executed. >> reporter: ismaaiyl brinsley fired from the side of the car, striking both officers in the head. >> officer liu and officer ramos never had the opportunity to draw their weapons, they may never have actually even seen their assailant. their murderer. >> reporter: the suspect ran to a nearby subway station where he shot and killed himself. ismaaiyl brinsley was on the run after shooting and injuring his ex girlfriend in baltimore, he posted from her instagram account just three hours before killing the officers, the caption reads i'm putting wings on pigs today. they took one of ours, let's take two of theirs. #shootthepolice #riper #ripericgarner#michaelbrownthis

bill maher has a following, it tends to go well with progressives, but tonight, some people at uc berkeley made it clear they aren't happy with what he said just a couple months ago. bill maher spoke at cal a few moments ago, and christin was there, how did it go? >> reporter: he managed to make it through without any interruptions from protesters in the ground, that's not to say there were no hard feelings. comedian and talk show host bill maher greeted with applause and silent protests as he took the stage in a stand a handful of protesters could be seen holding these signs reading "dear administration don't maher our commencement" . >> come on, it's berkeley, i think i can speak freely here. with brian hackney, finally getting a break in the rain. >> you wouldn't think we were saying that with relief, what a difference 10 days can make, the doppler, there's just not much left, a chance of residual shower or two tonight, so we're going to begin by going outside and showing you what it was like at ocean beach, surf was up, big time, king tides were up there by mill valley, perpetually shut down the intersection, not really an intersection, you get off highway 101 to make the left on to the turn to the beach, closed this time of year because the tides come up for astronomical reasons, kind of counterintuitive, the earth is closer to the sun that makes higher high tides. it doesn't necessarily make higher surf, this is all storm driven, 24 feet offshore, so the surf wraz breaking, the

terminals were all washing ashore, turtles, 1,200 of them have have been rescued, they don't know why they're coming offshore, they think because of the nushlly cold water off the irn seaboard and they're being flown out to marine rescue centers across the country, it's the most endangered turtle on earth, so cold their heartbeat slows without a beat a minute. so those volunteers are out there trying to help the ridly turtle out, hope they succeed. this guy slate is out there in his santa outfit and away he goes. he does this every year up the florida keys to raise money for children's charity and such beautiful visibility, i was certified another way, certified to scuba dive down in san diego, visibility here like 12 feet, look at the keys, isn't that gorgeous. coastal front advisories in the bay area, king tides near 6.7 feet tomorrow that means the

tide will be high again tomorrow at about 10:50 in the morning, sunrise tomorrow, 7:21, sunset 4:54, a shower or two high pressure is directing the moisture up to the pacific northwest and far northern california, we're finally going to get a break. we're going to get a few isolated showers tomorrow morning, that will be it for awhile, forecast highs a little bit warmer than they should be for this time of year, down, the 60s should do it, same for the east bay, brentwood comes in at 62, livermore, up in the north bay look at low to mid 60s and way up in the far north base, 55 degrees at lake port and 56 at clear lake, extended forecast looks good, all the way toward christmas, having to worry about sun stroke, plenty of sunshine for thursday, friday, and saturday, the numbers in the mid 60s and the early going to cool it off, a little bit the latter half of the week and yes, veronica misses the rain.

could they look so good in e half, and so bad the next??? this game was a microcosm oe 49ers entire season..they g outplayed in the second half..but this was as bad as it gets.y one other time in history, to be exact, did the 49ers such a huge half time lead jim harbaugh were cruising 28-7 on the chargers. third quarter 28-21. colin kaepernick ca' find anyone to throw to so e kaepernick of 2012 showed. takes off and puts on the after burners racing 90-yards for touchdown to give san francisco a 35- lead. final minute 35-28 49 phillip rivers to malcom fld with 30- seconds left to tie game, we go to overtime. fumble, >> it was 35-28, 49ers, phillip rivers to malcolm floyd. nick novak in to win it for san diego. and it is good. 38-35 is the final.
