i'm anne-marie green. a suspect in the murder of a wealthy washington family and their housekeeper is under arrest. daron dylon wint was take swoon custody last night in northeast washington. he was charged with murder while armed. this is not his first brush with maryland. he was taken into custody last night but he wasn't the only one. u.s. marshals tracked him to northeast d.c. and took him into custody late thursday night. police followed a truck winlt was riding in and pulled it over. >> once we got to a good location, we were able to get to him safely.

nobody got hurt. multiple people were taken into custody. >> reporter: wint is charged with first-degree murder while armed. he's charged in the murder of a couple and their son and housekeeper. three of them show signs of blunt force trauma or stab wounds. >> there is connection through the business of the suspect and the savopoulos family business. >> reporter: police believe the family was abused in the house. investigators matched dna from skin cells found on a pizza crust left at the crime scene to wint. he once worked asht.

police custody. the charges are similar but slightly different than the charges brought by the state's attorney. the circumstances surrounding gray's death set off protests. marlie hall has more on these latest charges. >> reporter: baltimore's top prosecutor marilyn moseby announced new charges against the six city police officers linked to the death of freddie gray. >> these last two weeks my team has been presenting evidence to grand jury that just today returned indictments against all six officers. >> reporter: freddie gray died a week after his april 12th arrest was recorded on video. the cause of death was severe spinal injury. after more than a week of sometimes violent protests moseby filed charges against six officers. thursday's indictment includes similar charges but adds reckless endangerment and includes false imprisonment. earlier this month gray's family

said they were pleased with the charges. >> these charges are an important step in getting justice for freddy. >> reporter: baltimore's fraternal order of police issued a statement saying all citizens are innocent until proven guilty including these six officers. this morning, heavy rainfall and flooding is forecast for the southern plains. flood watches and warnings are posted in oklahoma arkansas, and texas. yesterday there was flash flooding north of houston. the trinity river reached its highest level in 20 years and is expected to rise further in the coming days. another 3 to 7 inches of rain is expected into the weekend. meanwhile the west coast could finally get some relief from its historic drought. scientists say there's nearly a 100% of an el nino system this year. warming temperatures in the pacific ocean could cause a surge of wet weather. this morning investigators are measuring the environmental

one day after the finale. that brought out fans who happily hauled away tv history. on the "cbs moneywatch," more fallout on the "60 minutes" report on lumber liquidators and the largest disney store has trouble on its opening day. jill wagner is at the new york stock exchange with that and more. good morning, jill. >> good morning, anne-marie. president obama's trade agenda took what he calls a big step forward. the senate voted yesterday to end debate on legislation that would allow the president to negotiate trade deals that congress can accept or reject but not alter. most republicans and more than a dozen democrats voted for the measure. but assuming final senate passage, the deal faces stiff opposition in the house from others. democratic laum law makers. rising oil prices gave a slight boost on wall street.

the dow edged up 0.3 points. the s&p edged up nearly 5 points, and the naz damagesdaq rose 9 points. hong kong's hang seng gained more than 1%. the pharmacy chain cvs agrees to provide pharmacy services provider omni care in a $12.7 billion deal. the deal lets cvs expand its business in the senior care market and specialty drug business. omni care is the nation's large effort provider of pharmaceutical businesses in nursing homes. the ceo of lumber liquidators is out. they say robert lynch's resignation was unexpected. in march that the chinese built flooring sold by the company contained high levels of formaldehyde.

the justice department is seeking criminal charges against the company. this month lumber liquidators stopped selling the flooring. shake shack is starting to shake things up by adding chicken to its menu. they're going to open chicken shack which sells chicken sandwiches. and the largest disney store opens the largest store in china but had to close there were so many customers. shoppers lined up for more than a mile to get in on wednesday but after one hour the store closed due to fears of overcrowding. shanghai is due to get a disney theme park in the spring of 2016. anne-marie? >> spring of 2016? maybe we should start lining up now if we want to get in. jill wagner at the new york stock exchange. thanks a lot, jill. straight ahead, historic vote in ireland. the staunchly catholic country heads to the polls to decide whether to allow same-sex marriage. heavy catholics head to the polls to vote on same-sex marriage.

without change, he said, the scouts risk the end of us as a national movement. now gates says the decision should be made at the local level. scout councils in new york city and elsewhere have already defied the ban. it's coincided with a steady drop in membership. in ireland they're voting on a referendum that could make same sex marriage legal. the approved ireland could be the first to legalize same-sex marriage by a popular vote. jonathan vigliotti has more. >> good morning, anne-marie. nearly 85% of whom are roman catholic. polling stations are opening up this morning. vote supporters, those in favor of same-sex marriage are hoping for a strong turnout amongst young voters. tens of thousands of them registered in recent weeks. it's gained widespread support.
